Game planning has to be a nightmare. He might tear your team apart with short range strikes, he might throw a 50 yard ball in the air, he might jump over your middle linebacker, he might throw your defensive end on the ground. I just don’t know how you plan for that. Even last year, the game plan against him was basically “hang on for dear life and watch for mistakes.”

Nahhhh. Allen does have a better arm. I mean. It rips. Heck I think his timing may be better at this point. Accuracy isn’t. Mahomes is magical though and it’s an intangible thing

@cuckbaby Statistically, allen is better, and so far has a much higher chance to be mvp this year. Mahomes is obviously amazing, but him and lamar are both just not as explosive as they were in the last two seasons, if anything not mvp candidates. Also, allen does have a stronger arm than mahomes, as well as better accuracy so far. So for all intensive purposes, allen is better then mahomes this year, it is simply facts.

Big Boss Do you think it is only our defense? I think the lack of crowds effect performance of all defenses, not just the Bills. I think any team is going to have weaknesses due to salary cap issues.

yup. His progression was pretty clear when he made that giant leap after his rookie year injury. You don’t see that level of improvement in a couple of weeks unless a guy is REALLY hungry for it.

danzigvssartre if you watch the games, you’ll see that his first two years he was the opposite of dak Prescott. He wouldn’t put up 400 yards, but he would do what was necessary to win. He has the most 4th qtr comebacks in the league since he was drafted. No INT in the 4th qtr. Hes just clutch. That’s why the hype. His first season he had no offense around him. No receivers, and no linemen. Slight improvement last year but still not great. Now we finally got him the weapons to succeed. How is leading the league in 4th qtr comebacks being “carried by their defense”?

@David Maly 100% buffalo has a metro population of around 1.2 million. The bills fan base is probably the biggest in the nfl. I live here in buffalo and our friends from the north love buffalo. They flood millions of dollars into the city. I often made the trip to toronto and there are billevers up there. There is no nfl team like buffalo.

@ApolloTheLeader Agreed Diggs has been sensational but let’s give credit to Brian Daboll who has done a tremendous job as the Bills offensive coordinator since 2018. In all four Bills games this year, Daboll’s offense has exploited the weakness of the opposing teams defense, yesterday it was the Raiders, and last week the Rams, by being multiple on offense, and he’s varied his game plan each week and it has definitely shown. Daboll’s philosophy isn’t on what the Bills offense does well but more so on what the defense doesn’t and it’s worked to perfection so far and why our Bills are unbeaten in 2020. Can’t wait what Daboll has in store for the Kansas City Chiefs defense on TNF October 15th. We definitely have a great shot to beat the Super Bowl Champs. Let’s go Bills!!!!

Sad Steven A Smith its simple: Allen steps up his game playing from behind, while Lamar completely collapses. Dude is entirely reliant on playing with a lead and leaning on the running game.

@Todd Jones Agreed. Lamar is just too reliant on his speed and running ability. And is worth mentioning his lean frame, which makes him even more vulnerable to injury. Plus, I absolutely love Allen’s passion, most guys with that much talent wouldn’t even bother putting that effort.
