@Jordan Anderson agreed sir! Not head coach material plus as a supposed defensive coordinator it is really strange that he doesn’t encourage blitzing according to most.

@Love Dogs I like Fangio but as a defensive coordinator. If Lock’s the future, he needs someone to develope him and I’ve barely seen any interaction between Lock and Fangio the way Reid has with Mahomes, Gruden with Carr, you name it.

Do you think he was groggy from yelling for half a football game ?

@Luis Moreno the defense definitely played a big part last night. No 2 point conversion, only three points several times. Aside from Darnolds rushing TD, defense played well. They finally brought pressure and blitzes. Our DBs can match up against Pats WR and they dont have any threat other than Edelman.

My guess is we see more Rypien than Vic is leading us to believe.

Unbelievable. Did you all not watch the game.? Rypien deserves another opportunity. He earned it. What we witnessed is an undrafted 2nd year player put up 37 points on an NFL defense (Greg Robinson defense see Favre and Manning about his defense) with 3 turnovers and still won game. Young players make mistakes especially young qbs. And he did it without the defense getting any turnovers. He actually moved the offense He had no sacks while getting ball out quickly. Dont forget about the hits he was taking. Lets see most QBs not throw any ints with the shots he took. While i love Drew Lock he wouldnt of lasted a quarter with the hits Rypien was taking. Lastly Rypien would of had much better numbers possibly 300 yards plus with 3 tds and 3 ints if D Hamilton would of made an effort to catch a well thrown ball for a td. Change my mind. I also think having Drew Lock sit and watch the possibility of him losing his job will light a fire to maybe play through injuries. Job security is not so secure. See Sam Darnold get back in there with similar injury.

@Lord Bane I get what you’re saying, I truly do, and I honestly hope Rypien can evolve and develope as a qb, but being honest, it was against the Jets. The team that everyone agrees is the worst in the NFL. He played a solid game being his first NFL start. But if he had thrown those 3 interceptions against the Bucs, Brady turns them into 21 points, and not 10 points. Or if he throws them against the Pats, Newton turns them into points too. I just believe in Lock’s connection and development with the offense a lot more. I think Lock could’ve had the same numbers as Rypien minus two interceptions possibly.
