The stats say otherwise. He’s maybe the 3rd or 4th pass receiving option on his own team after Fant, Patrick, and maybe even Gordon… if Sutton was healthy he’s lower on the list than him too. He’s 35th in the league in yards, 39th in receptions, 52nd yards after catch, 44th yards per catch… note how all of these numbers are bigger than 32, meaning he’s definitely not even worthy of being a #1 anywhere as at least 32 guys are better in every stat cat.

Hey dont forget that Brett rypien was a 2018 mountain west player of the year guy in college!!! Hes a good player and has skills. Quarterback protection is a must. Jerry jeudy is gonna find the end zone 2 or three times. 27 yards is acheivable for jerry jeudy. He can do it. Gotta score and score early. Go broncos!!! Get that win!!!

I think Denver can pull out a win here IF Rypien takes fewer than 5 sacks and throws 1 or fewer picks. That means Shurmer has to call plays that get the ball out of his hands, the line has to give him at least 2 seconds to think, and the run game has to get some actual push. I said it to anyone who would listen before the season started, the O line will make or break the season. They’re currently the 27th ranked O line for pass protection. Just BEHIND the Jets.
