Ugly win. Running game needs to be more consistent. Don’t leave it all in the hands of a 38 year old if it doesn’t need to be. And geez, could our ILBs please cover better? Only way to beat Chiefs and Ravens is control the ball on O and reduce the effectiveness of the TE and RB on D. I’ll see how we are by the time our first game w the Ravens is over. Until then, it’s still preseason.

I actually think offense and defense were off today. Both struggled late. Defense was undisciplined down the stretch. Offense went on cruise control after halftime. I would not say D won the game at all.

I’m glad we didn’t blow it and that the D were the ones to close it. But ffs someone tell Randy Fichtner to stop taking his foot off the gas when we’re winning. We almost blew it to a bunch of backups because he was too afraid to stay aggressive.

I just get frustrated with the offense playing conservatively in the 2nd half. I understand you want to get the running game going and running time off the clock, but you have such a great receiver corp and you run the ball 1st and 2nd down. Use those receivers and put up the 30+ points that your are capable of. Nothing demoralizes a defense like putting points up, they will buckle.

Yes, we can agree on tha “”W”, however, u did not speak to this issue of inconsistencies which continues to eliminate tha Steelerz from tha Lombardi, amongst other reasonz. They operate like a lightswitch…one moment on and the other off. This is not discipline. Without it….u now can see from tha first 2 games, they can never fully close tha deal. The main reason why? Tomlin does not demand it. His philosophy is to get to tha game and “let’s see what happens”. He makes virtually no adjustments during tha game and thus, emotions rule instead of discipline. He is not tha man who will lead this team to a Lombardi. Like it or not.

2018 – Steelers, 2019 – Browns, 2019 – Steelers again (I went to that game and I have the video), 2020 -? It’s our turn now to win. See you in October!!! Big ben is back and he better get better if he wants to outscore the Brownies 🙂

Here is what I m going to say
Defensively we always think we have a big lead and the coordinator always want to go to prevent mode. We take our foot off the gas and let them back in the game. Edmunds cant cover nobody. I am happy he made the last sack at the end of the game but he needs to get better cuz he is being picked on all the time now offensively, coach Randy Fitchner born and raised in my hometown of Meadville pa. He has to do a better job of play calling in certain situations. Quit taking your foot off the pedal when you have a big league. This is getting old. You got to have a killer instinct when it comes to the NFL. Look at Dallas and Atlanta. Your lead is never comfortable until the game is over. We need to stop this or we will loose some heartbreaking games that we may not be able to overcome mentally. I know Atlanta is sick. I dont ever want to feel that way even though I am not playing and im sure the Steelers as a team dont want to feel that way as well. Lets go!!! Better week next week. Lets pick up the pace!!! Finish Strong!!!!!!

Wow I didn’t recognize Chris Hoke. He looks good. A lot of former lineman are dropping weight once they retire.

Connor was picking up 6 plus yards a carry b4 and they just starting passing it. Oh well but over 100 on 15 carries is real nice.
