Teddy had a decent game, but I just don’t think he will improve enough to get this team to the playoffs.

    Almost 400 yards is “decent?”

    Marcus McGraw

slylockfox101 in today’s era, yes that’s all that is, empty stats. Panthers have looked better than advertised in his defense though

Smashing Comet that was the point…

    @Marcus McGraw
No. You’re just seeing how bad that Panthers team is. Offensively, they were never that talented when Cam was their. Their WR cores were never better than average. Greg Olson was their leading receiver many of the years Cam was their. That’s inexcusable for a TE to lead in receiving. Cam carried a mediocre team when he was there.

In the past, the defense made up for the lackluster offense too. That’s not the case now.

Allen deserves a video, 417 yards 4 tds

200 of those yards came in garbage rime

    Lucas

there wasn’t a garbage time in this game

    Michael

I wouldn’t say that . I believe the bucs stop playing aggressive when it was 21-0 so they took advantage

    Tara Chee

@Michael They gave him some underneath throws, but he was still able to throw for yardage and without the threat of McCaffrey. If Carolina ever develops or drafts a skilled tight end for him to throw to, and the OL gets better, this offense will be tough to stop

joshua roberts

Dude ain’t good why is the NFL hyping him up.

You could take a D3 college QB and let him check down all game to mcaffery ya day get 300 yards .

I guess it’s cool number for fantasy?

    thelegendsqb1

He’s a homeless mans Alex Smith

    Im2GuD 89

He didn’t even throw to mccaffrey

    Bruce Wayne

@Im2GuD 89 and if that keeps happening panthsrs are screwed

    david bamundaga

it’s like the teddy bridgewater also plays on defense

DALVIN COOK IS THE BEST RB IN THE NFL

we’ll take teddy back and you guys can have kirk, ANYONE is better than him

    Im2GuD 89

    Kirk > Teddy trust me

    Im2GuD 89

    We don’t want Teddy

    Nikolai Feinstein

DEFINITELY, my dude! Besides Brett Favre, Teddy Bridgewater was the most exciting Minnesota Vikings QB to watch! I am sad that Minnesota let him go, he was a HELL of a QB for us. And people will say “Oh, Kirk is WAY better than Teddy”. Maybe, but Teddy is A LOT faster with getting the ball out than Kirk is and that is something we need in Minnesota because our offensive line is ABSOLUTE garbage!

NotYourEverydayTrav

Honestly as a panthers fan… Robby Anderson is trash.

    Lucas

    are you stupid

    Quan TV

You are slow coming from a panthers fan

Always Chillin

Wish we still had Cam. Bigger stronger wouldn’t have taking all those sacks and on 4th and inches he would go for it.

Joshua Muench

I wish I would have started Anderson in fantasy

Josh

367 I believe

Cant wait to get justin fields

Ogdenboy45667

You mean his big day where he threw no TDs, 2 picks and fumbled?

david bamundaga

can we all talk about the panthers defense for at least five minutes, i mean everybody is talking about teddy bridgewater and nobody seems to see that the panthers defense is bad

Tara Chee

Teddy and this offense will be balling by mid-season as they get to know each other, and the system better. While he let a couple throws get away from him (it happens to the best), he also snuck in some grade-A throws into tight windows. I’ve been following him since his Louisville days, and he’s an excellent QB with great pocket awareness and the ability to chew up blitzes if his OL isn’t leaking pressure immediately up the middle like they were this game. Coaches love him because he understands and is efficient running their systems, and the offense will only get better as he continues to do work with his receivers. You’ll see him become more adventurous when plays break down as well once he and receivers get more work in. He also doesn’t typically turn the ball over, so you probably won’t see another 3 turnover game from him for at least several years. You can be sure he’s working on that dump off screen to the RB over outstretched arms when he’s back in practice to make sure the ball doesn’t get away from him ever again.
