Good to hear from the coach. I’m hopeful! Anyone saying he should be fired is an absolute idiot! The franchise has been terrible lately cuz there have been poor decisions (MGMT, drafting, free agency) AND lack of continuity. Gase and Douglas will develop the solid foundation we need. No one in their right mind is going to come to the Jets or any organization if they don’t think they have a fair, honest assessment. Same with free agents; overpaying or being used as elevating one’s market price is al you need to know to see this was not a desired destination previously. If we like Joe Douglas and feel confident with him in this position, then recognize at least that Gase is the reason he’s here. You telling me Douglas would agree to be GM if the coach in place wasn’t respectable in his eyes? The league is built on stars and team depth. We have neither! Let’s build up this roster and do this the right way. If there’s talent and the coach underperforms, then a change would be warranted. It’s going to take time. Stop whining. Let’s Go Jets!

I love Marcus Maye, although he is injury prone and Dalvin Cook was on the board when we grabbed Maye. I just kept imagining a team with Adams on one side of the ball and Cook on the other.
