I think the pass rush if we get a good consistent pass rush it will help out everything I think coach Graham will do good we just don’t have enough experience the whole team has to come together but I like this guy plus a lot of rookies

-limited practice
-new scheme
-bad secondary.
I’m very excited to see what our team is going to look like midway into the season

First half we had a taste of what these Giants can do. I like the new players, i like the progress
of Carter, Leo, Dexter… , and i like the schemes. There were problems at cb2, the rub routes in the second half, felt like the coverage got too loose later in the game, and an adjustment needed to be made when they started busting out big run plays. Even tho our own run game wasn’t working, our passing attack was good enough to keep the time of possession pretty even, but maybe we spent more time, maybe too much time, with the defense on the field
in the second half? Rotate a bit more to keep players fresh? Anyway, this year we’ve improved
the defensive roster, and Graham is a good strategist and coach. It’s refreshing to see a defensive coordinator moving the team towards a coherent co-ordinated defense.

His play calling started to be all man.. not enough mix. They was clearly tired. .. to much man in the red zone,, knowing they was going to keep doing pick plays. He gets a F ., he didn’t adjust to his players or the Pitt play calling.

If we get top5 draft pick again I hope not but if so gettlemen better pick micah parsons. We’ve passed out Josh Allen and Isisah Simmons. If he passes on Parsons he should be fired. We haven’t had a legit talented LB lately since Boley

I saw like 3, 3rd and short plays were we played extremely soft almost looked like cover 3 off coverage free realsese not sure what we would doing but it nearly gave me a heart attack and I almost passed out screaming

One week in and he’s already wayyy better than Bettcher

I love when coaches acknowledge that it all starts with them. His focus on “I’ve got to coach our guys better” really shows that he truly believes that the players have what it takes to compete, and that it’s his job to get them to that point. That’s some A+ leadership. He knows that he’s a part of his defense, not just their overseer. Obviously the players need to improve, too, but being aware that it’s not all just their fault if he doesn’t give them the right calls, training and mindset to go out there and dominate an offense goes a long way. Just compare it to Shurmur’s press conferences last year. You didn’t hear a single “it’s also kinda my fault” from him, yet here we have Patrick Graham starting with “I’ve got to do a better job” right out of the gate. You gotta love this, and I think we have to thank coach Judge for looking for this kind of mindset when he assembled the coaching staff.
