“Big Ticket” Mekhi Becton.” Glad an O-lineman is getting some well-deserved props. He looks like he’s going to be a great player in the NFL.
He was a beast, one of the few bright spots on the team, he did let up a sack and one pressure but apart from that he was very good. Next Sunday is the big test, going up against Nick Bosa and Dee Ford.
I wouldn’t call it a test like it will decide whether he will become great or not. Rookie o lineman take time to get used to the nfl, especially without preseason games.

@Albert9202 no it is not at all. There were plays Darnold could’ve ran or throw to open WRs and didn’t pull the trigger. Gase can only be blamed on play calls but not when Sam is making mistakes. This is the year for no more excuses for Sam and if he doesn’t play well then new QB 2021 draft

Darnold didn’t know what to do with that pocket space smh
absolutely. This was a really depressing game for him. I’ve been saying for a bit that he really needs to step up his play but I think this season is when people will finally start realizing that he isn’t playing well, he isn’t throwing accurately, he isn’t moving well in the pocket, and he’s not making good reads. Gase deserves most of the blame for the team overall but Darnold needs to play better period. So many missed throws on Sunday
Sam needs to get over last season’s PTSD and realize he’s got a mountain protecting his blindside.
