Is it me or when we run the ball for the last 4 years we just go left or right or up the middle with no misdirection or counters? I have been screaming to see us play-fake to Zeke up the middle to make the linebackers bite and then pitch it to Pollard or throw a dang slant to Gallup.

The offense I saw last night was disgustingly familiar to what I’m used to seeing. Where is the misdirection and confusion? I watched mcvay scheme his less talented roster open just like he did in 2018.. and we just told Zeke to hit the A gap on 1st down.

I hate to say it but some of it was execution like that 4th down where CD came up a yard short on that curl he was supposed be a little deeper. But wheres all the play action and hurry up offense where dak shines we need to catch defense off guard. I hope this isn’t Kellen Moore with Garrett type play calling

Poe is washed up . We looked bad bad ! The Defense looked horrible , the O line looked less than average . We got pushed around in the trenches both sides of the ball . The wolf hunter kept chasing the bait on the misdirection plays , J S was right behind him going the wrong way and two seconds late ! The sad part was that the Rams kept fooling us with the same misdirection play over and over and over again and they looked surprised each time !!! P.S. Steel was butter soft at right tackle . Only our Defensive Tackles was softer than him .

I agree for 6 months all you’ve been here and how different the cowboys are how private McCarthy is no one’s going to know what we’re going to do but we came out doing the same thing I don’t want to hear it no more I want to see something different and Atlanta is going to say everything when we play against Atlanta but this first game very disappointed 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

What Mickey is quoting is the outcomes. Then he calls it the cause. And saying they lose if they don’t score at least 30 points makes it seem like the defense is giving up too many points. The defense gave the ball back to the offense 3 straight possessions with a chance to take the lead.

Here’s a simple outcome, the offense looked just like it did last year when we weren’t playing the dregs of the league. What happened last year that is still the same, Moore. He’s over his head.

Offense can’t score enough points combined with leaky defense. Replay of last year. Russell Wilson will eat this teams lunch (week 3) so Dallas has Atl game to prevent going 0-3.
