I wondered the same. They didn’t give the fb the ball all game and then most important play of the game and he gets it? Comon man

As I imagined alot of 30 points games til this defense grows Carolina has a great offense but defense too young right NOW..

Why did we run the ball with 2 minutes left 4 times?
Offense did good , but what i noticed was the defense was sloppy. No pressure on the QB.
Raiders got a good O Line though.
raiders got the best center in the league and the best tackle in the league. The left tackle was a rookie they drafted last year and he was looking solid too. Incognito and gabe Jackson are beast guards. Not to mention, they’ve all played with each other so their chemistry with each other is on point. Nobody was missing blocks or running into other teammates. Gotta give respect for that raiders oline.
I loved our run in the 4th. We have something to build off of.

McCaffrey should have another amazing season. I hope the Panthers can win with his help.
At the very least this team will grow. The defense especially.
Honestly the Raiders penetrated that play real fast so wouldn’t have mattered whether it was Christian or the FB, the line should be blamed. Don’t scapegoat Alex

Alex made a 3rd & 1 earlier in the game so I dnt understand Y ppl are so upset about the call

So play action off of Alex. Raiders penetrated (snap count and formation – down and distance recognition). I thought initially Teddy was going to quick count it and could sneak it himself . Great comeback, LB’s out of position at times for gaping holes, no pass rush. O Line pass pro was improved, first two drives of second half three and out and five third quarter penalties.
Much better “team” despite my observations than last season.
Play calling was suspect, but it’s only week 1. Hope to see more chemistry and better play calling in the following weeks

Last year we would have given up after being down 15 points. Little victories during a rebuilding season is what matters.
CMC is a absolute monster on the field. both teams played well on offense & weak on defense. Game came down to that 4&1 so keep your heads up & good luck this season

Cam and christen would of been dynamic this year . After 10 years I’ve changed from the panthers . Just purely on how they handled the situation . With our senior bunch of players . Bad management .. and still starting off a season losing
I’m happy with what I saw. You can question who got the ball in 4th and inches but I like the process.
