It was the defense and coaching that was to blame, not to mention his wrs kept dropping passes uncharacteristically. He will get his play off wins, dont you worry. He is not the next Matt Ryan.

LB is harder to play than ever before with all the misdirection. This also is a problem for dlineman obviously. Not to mention LBs are asked to do it all now a days, you’re not making much of a living as a “thumper” any more. You have to be functional in coverage as well as the run.
Oline is about the same as it’s been for a while, they have to block the biggest freaks on the field.
In most systems RBs are being asked to do more than theyve ever done before. Need to be proficient running, catching, and blocking. Not as many star backs who are simply runners than there used to be.
The WR position has gotten a bit easier due to rules favoring them.
You can call it hate all you want, we’ll see who ends up being right. Just don’t be too disappointed if it doesnt turn out the way you think it’s gonna.

Atlanta didn’t put real talent around him and he also didn’t study coverages n the playbook bc he knew could do whatever. He just had the wrong ppls around him as far as family. he has excellent coaching behind him, has one of the best defenses to practice against, and is one of the most intelligent qbs in the nfl. he studies film religiously and rigorously picks apart everything from what the scheme of the defense is and what each player is doing to what every player on the offense is doing what they should be doing and what adjustments need to be made against the next defense he faces and what he can audible or hot route in those situations to make big plays etc.
He really has become one of the best when going through his progessions. He gets everyone involved on the offense
