@ApeHead Buffalo plays to their competition in case you guys forgot last year. Also the bill should have had 30 points and the Jets basically had 10 points but scored with 50 something seconds left. Even though it was only a 10-point game when it was all said and done, the Jets never had a chance and the bills dominated the entire game. The only part where the Jets had even a glimmer of hope was when it was 21 to 10 and then the Jets messed up their drive to potentially cut it down to Four Points

Buffalo has one of the hardest schedules this year, I really doubt the Bills can play like this all year long. Though I do say Allen is looking good to be a decent QB, needs to fix the rough ends he has though, those fumbles and the various missed passes this could have been a forty point game.

@StoryTimeZach San fran did not look good yesterday, miami looked very bad, bell for the jets should be out awhile, chiefs look beatable, rams are beatable and not impressed with NE. I still think Buffalo can go 11-5 or 12-4 and win the division.

I’m excited for him he’s made great improvements but it’s hard to call us doubters haters when he had a 53% completion percentage his rookie year and tossed more ints than touchdowns and the mediocre season he had last year.

He’s seemed to fix some of the problems that us informed “haters” pointed out like his tendency not to progress through his reads and his poor pocket presence. Dude looked like a machine out there I was impressed this game.

Mayfields issue is confidence. He got super humbled last year and has yet to break out of his slump. He still has talent and made a ton of good throws today but just couldn’t put a good run together.

xPositivityx If you think Allen was good enough to take the bills far when all he’s done so far is put up mediocre numbers then that’s your prerogative. While I will be realistic and see if he actually accomplishes something this year without piggybacking off of an excellent defense. He still needs to tuck the ball, but again he’s seen some development. He has far better pocket presence and actually progresses through his reads instead of forcing the ball downfield all the time.

I agree with your point – his pocket presence has significantly improved over the past 2 years. He also seems to be able to consistently add touch to passes that need it. If he can iron out some of his head scratching errors, I think that he could really take the Bills a long way.

I was super skeptical of Josh Allen before I saw that he’d improved over the offseason while this guy is trying to make it seem like Josh has played like this all along which he hasn’t. To be honest Josh Allen wouldn’t have even gone in the first round if he didn’t have such jaw dropping physical gifts like his combination of size and speed and his arm strength.

He hit a 50+ FG with no acceleration so he can definitely hit these. Honestly, I feel letting Hauschka go was a bit of an exaggeration for opening space but Bass is still young. Give him some slack.

I would say bass is the kicker we need for the future because even tho house money can bang em all day 45 yards and in.. Our Bills training camp reporters said bass was hitting 55plus yarders with a lot of room to go.. I’ll take My chances with the Bass

Our kicking side of the ball is well….very odd to say the least. Hauschka was known for hitting long field goals but not being able to or just barely hitting medium-short range field goals, we replaced him for Bass, a person in college known for hitting long field goals like a champ but struggling with keeping accuracy in medium-short range field goals. I really don’t understand the thought process here. Though I will say, Bass has lots of potential, he played well for someone who has never kicked a ball in the windy city of Buffalo outside of practice.

@StoryTimeZach that was shown yesterday. Bass can hit the long fg and struggled with kicks that are shorter than a pat attempt. Hope he fixes it and quick because we all know a kicker can be a star one week and gone the next. Will give him a pass because it was his first game and it didn’t affect the outcome but one of these games it will and we can’t afford it. Very hard schedule this year and some games will be close

Brandon Ohara Absolutely at this point I would take Josh 100% Newton is in the twilight of his career and Josh is just getting started. However, the jury is still out on whether Josh is better yet especially considering Newton has had time to fully recover from his shoulder injury. I’m expecting him to break out because he’s an excellent fit for the patriot’s ground and pound system.

Brandon Ohara Not to mention that Newton had his most efficient year in a ground and pound short passing game similar to the patriot’s system but he was playing through his injury. Now he’s healthy and can push the ball down field.

@Win Flex Close cam is healthy and fits well with that New England offense. He will have to be a little more than a game manager(not saying hes just that) at some point this season if the pats want a chance but its a great pickup for NE especially for the price they got him at

Josh Allen made tremendous improvements this off season. Darnold’s ceiling looked higher last year considering he had a WAY better rookie year than Josh Allen. Josh Allen’s rookie year he through more interceptions than touchdowns at a 53% completion percentage. Completely unacceptable for any quarterback who ISNT a rookie.
