Please!! Explain to me the diference between pass rusher, speed rusher and defensive end.

    To increase pressure, teams will sometimes use a pass-rushing specialist, who is usually a quick defensive end or outside linebacker tasked with aggressively rushing the quarterback in obvious passing situations. A defensive end is just a player that is positioned at either end of the d-line, therefore, the name defensive end. A speed rusher can either be a 4-3 defensive end or a 3-4 linebacker. The difference between a pass rusher and a speed rusher is that a pass rusher can be anyone on the defensive line. For example Aaron Donald and Nick Bosa. Both are pass rushing specialists, but they play two different positions on the line(One is a DT and the other is a DE). A speed rusher can only be a defensive end or a linebacker, that also it depends on the alignment of the defense. Although, it usually differs between a 4-3 and a 3-4 look. Hope this helped!
