R Gradishar was a phenom! That stadium would go nuts whenever he stuffed a run play on the goal line – and he did it on the regular for years. No question, imo, he should be in the Hall. (As in yesterday!) That set of linebackers — Gradishar, Jackson, Swenson and Rizzo — were considered the best LB group in football back in the day. (Yeah, yeah, Steelers were also very good. So, don’t get smart w/me, Pittsburg fans.) I was lucky enough to see them coached to precision during training camp.
