Judge is a rookie and still has to learn how to coach in-season but he is on the ball and prepared. Hopefully we have finally found the next great Giants head coach.

Judge has taken some flak for being a disciplinarian & using “old school” methods. To the bored media who are always stirring the pot, I say bravo to Judge. After enduring embarrassing losses especially to divisional opponents and multiple losing seasons, it’s warranted. Would you rather have nice guy Shurmur running things again? Judge means business and it is welcome that he is instilling some toughness and discipline here. It’s been missing since TC left.

While Judge might have some old school methods, he is still a young head coach and a good communicator. He has been a lot more engaging than Bellichick, one of his mentors.

Judge might have some Bellichick methods but he learned from others and he’s shown he’s very much his own man and he is not trying to clone Bellichick. It shows how smart and prepared he is. I think he is smart enough to know that he can’t always act like a tyrannical emperor. He ran them hard last week and gave them a day off and is letting them rest up. He knows he has to throw a bone, communicate and be fair and consistent. Even though he might demand a lot, he’s showing he demands a lot from himself which the players see. It feels different. The players seem receptive and hungry. They’re a young team and a good culture is starting to gel here. I think these young guys want to prove themselves individually and as a team.

Judge is still a rookie and there will be some bumps on the road but I I think the foundation is being set for sustained success. Judge still has to coach a long season and learn a lot quickly with a relentless NY media always hounding him. However, I think he’s ready and the team is talented enough that we will start winning a lot sooner than expected. I think we could surprise a lot of people this year but one step at a time.

When a coach is as well prepared and can answer quickly and confidently to all these questions, you know that he’s detail oriented and has put thought into every aspect of his job. So far, he’s been flawless and spot on with his philosophy!

Can’t remember a coach/manager speaking with this level of confidence, intelligence, and focus in any sport. Guy has the right, DETAILED answer for any question. is it possible after basically the worst era n Giants football, this is THE GUY to lead us into the light? It’s all too much to believe in right now, but the man is one of the most impressive speakers I’ve seen.

If the coaches get quarantined, then you just let the players play.

I am now again a proud giants fan I’ve been ashamed of our last two coaches and how this team was ran. Tough, physical, disciplined, and accountable. This is the new york giants way lets go big blue.

Great point about the guys playing kicker in high school or college. I remember the old bear QB used to kick fields goals in pregame warm ups.

Shurmur never never inspired me, listening to Judge he gives you a sense that he means it.
