@Psychotropni Lachtan You have not refuted anything I have said. Kapernick did consult a navy seal on how to best go about it. Every other instance I sited about kneeling as a sign of respect is still true. As you admit, he did in fact say he was kneeling to draw attention to racial injustice, perhaps you are right that he said something else initially. That point is moot though because the movement coming from it latched on that very point: Kneeling to draw attention to the aforementioned social issues, not a sign of disrespect.

…unless of course you are thin skinned about the flag and misinterpret it.

Well,You may not hear it but for the 1st time in my life I will be cheering for some team in addition to my beloved Patriots. It will be 2 game s a week for me!

PS I’ve been watching the Bruins, and it hasn’t been as awkward as expected without the fan noise. And they were smart to cover the seats. We have pretty low pandemic rates here in Mass,So it’s sorta heartbreaking to see the stadium sit empty And not be able to cheer team on. But right now I’m just praying we make it to football season and there is one!

PS they only announced no fans throughout September. So it’s a long shot, but if things go well there might be some things down the road when they can finish planning. I actually heard talk of some sort of pods at Gillette stadium.I would imagine that would cost a fortune. ,But the Krafts do tend to spend more money than most teams. Look at our team jet!

Mostly, I’m looking forward to see him play for an offensive minded coach and what BB and Josh McDaniels can do with a completely different style of QB. Always been a Bruce Arians fan.
