I like Klis, but how do you only give the Broncos one additional win over last year? Chubb is healthy, better OC, and all of the weapons added in the off season. Add that to the fact that two of the Bronco’s losses were on penalty assisted, last second, field goals. I feel 8-8 would be a disappointing season.
I think they are just trying to keep people’s expectations under control

“Can go 9-7” bruh the 2016 Broncos were 9-7. This team CAN be way better and have a better record than them.

Klis has no business talking about the Broncos if he’s just going to spout the national narrative. He should watch him play and make his own evaluations!!
We were a 9-7 team last year considering that there were at least two games that were straight-up stolen from us by penalties that led to game-winning field goals for the other teams (Bears and Jaguars). We have had extremely close games with the best teams in the NFL for the past 4 seasons, if we can finish games and not shoot ourselves in the foot, we should at the very least be 10-6. We are far better talent-wise and coaching-wise than we have been in a while, it makes zero sense for us to be anything less than 10-6.
