He wants 60 catches.. yet fans are gonna complain dc checks it down too much. Waller, renfrow, richard and Jacob’s all benefited from carr checking it down. When Jacob’s gets his 60 catches and waller gets his 80+ with 1k yards dont say carr checks dont slander carr for checking it down. It’s a major part of Grudens offense. They wanna set a defense up for a big shot downfield.
Carr checks down far too fast when something else in the progression is open for a larger gain.
Casuals can complain all they want . I agree we need to use Jacobs more in the pass game .

@Ulisses Lopez when he has receivers that can get separation, he will throw it downfield…see 2016. 2017 was a rookie OC & terrible play caller (Downing). 2018 Gruden blew up the team. 2019 he played very well considering his go to receiver was double covered and he had no viable options. Bro is gonna be FINE! I can tell you dont know football cause nobody gets far by chucking it every play. You gotta play chess. He checks down to Jacobs or Ruggs, and then the D plays up. Which opens Bowden, Edwards, Waller and Ruggs to FLY downfield.
