This touches me on so many levels. I hope the Ravens will be more proactive with working members of the community to create change. I’ve been working with Drew Myers of the Community Relations Department of the Baltimore Ravens. Drew has sent over 90 of the kids in our program to the ravens game for the first time. The impact of that event made a real change. Having that type of reward and incentives can really help us in the community steer alot of underprivileged youth and minorities in the right direction. The reason I speak on this is because we will never truly be viewed as equals until we can tear down the walls of systematic oppression and economic disparities. It starts with education. Knowledge is power. The Ravens may not educate. But the organization is in the position to reward children who excel academically and make positive community efforts. I hope that the Ravens will continue to partner with organizations such a ours make hope for a better future a reality.

Initially, I rolled my eyes to this statement because I felt like saying BLM is PC now. I was wrong. This message was heartfelt and was the best statement I’ve heard thus far from anyone. For that, I appreciate my team saying something.

We’ve had a problem and we thought we fixed it by ignoring it but trust me it’s still here!

I am a die-hard Ravens fan, via being a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan from 1976-1995 and I’m a bit biased, but Arthur B. Modell was my main man for a very long time and I ALWAYS knew, long before THIS statement, that when Mr. Modell turned ownership over to Mr. Steve Bisciotti, this franchise was in VERY, VERY reliable hands.

Mr. Bisciotti, is the BEST team owner in the NFL; he’s not overbearing and a TV hog like too many others are and he is a very underrated man in that aspect and I am grateful the Ravens have him as their leader.

Love steve and this franchise and that’s why they have been great for so long
