Lifelong ravens fan from Texas. My mother wasn’t into football and the Ravens were the team I always picked in madden when I was a kid because purple was my favorite color and I hated the Vikings mascot. They won the first Super Bowl (2001) I had ever seen and I have never looked back. My entire family likes the cowboys but they root for the Ravens anytime Dallas isn’t playing them. My wife isn’t interested in football. Flew with her to Bmore last year to watch them play the Jets. She’s now a member of the flock. Nothing like Ravens’ mentality. Chin-down and keep swinging. I love this franchise.

If Weddle ever decides to be an assistant defensive backs coach for the Ravens, I’m all for it
One of my favorite things about the Ravens is how veterans can spend almost a decade of their careers on another team, players like Vonta Leach, Willis McGehee, Anquan Boldin, Steve Smith Sr., Eric Weddle. But then they spend 2-3 years on the Ravens and then they end up retiring as a Raven because the organization from top to bottom is just that beloved.
