Still think we need a receiver that Lamar can throw the back up for those 50/50 balls we got plenty of speed tho

Weren’t the ravens productive and starting x and y receivers like 5’11. Mark clayton and Derrick mason. 50/50 balls just throw it to Andrew’s.. lol

    Danny

I’m pretty sure also duvernay and marquise can get the 50 50 ball

Ravens have the best organization hands down top to bottom!

the 1st question was to me not a great question, why would you ask do you like the pick you picked, if they didn’t want the person they wouldn’t have picked them.

Joe broke it down really well with regards to PR and KR. When we think about returners we think Hester, Jacoby and Cordarrelle Patterson and not as much the Jarvis Landry and Justin Hardy returners of the world. Glad we are valuing vision and hands over speed.

While I very much appreciate watching these media sessions with Joe, both as a Ravens fan and general draft junkie, it is a very bittersweet feeling to know that other teams now have access to his thought process via YouTube and could at any point decide to make him their next GM.

I mean, really… There is no excuse for this man to have not been hired already by some other team. If he were the Browns GM post-Sashi, they’d have already made the playoffs by now. His understanding of how to match talent with coaching, along with his pure ability to identify that talent, makes him inherently more qualified to run an NFL team than 90% of the executives and GMs out there.

If I’m the Houston Texans, I’m hiring Joe Hortiz immediately! The man knows his stuff and is the exact temperament you want from your lead decision-maker. If we weren’t already spoiled enough to have Eric DeCosta sitting in the driver’s seat right now, I’d be plenty content with Joe leading the charge. Everyone involved in the draft process for this team seems to be in lock-step with each other, and given our track record these past few years I just don’t get how Eric’s staff hasn’t been picked clean.

They are the best in the business — by far!
