@Cujobob Slay was a product of great safety play… Well mainly because of Glover Quin… Do you remember Slay b4 he was #23 and the season b4 GQ got there?

When did the Lions draft Slay? 2013. So you’re telling me that Slay wasn’t good in college and only became good once GQ was around?
Also, he played well last season, check out the SI article I linked above. The team just couldn’t pressure the QB.
@Cujobob yes I’m saying slay wasn’t the player he was before GQ.. i know the lack of pressure didn’t help ANY of our secondary but let’s be real here. GQ was the Mastermind in the secondary to help Slay make the plays he did. You wanna compare stats? How about when we had the the best defense In the league and Slay was just as productive as he was last season?
The Jeneral View Slay was terrific last season and was terrific pretty early on. You can’t blame a corner when the defense doesn’t get pressure on a QB, even top corners only contain guys for so long. There is no before GQ. I just showed you GQ was signed the same year Slay was drafted.
He had a heck of a year and him & wife have been through a lot God bless him

Marvin been a beast the last 4 years… he the only reason i didnt literally cry when we lost megatron. cuz i knew he was gone get a shot and then Kenny came… I love our wrs. Def underrated
One of the most underrated WR in the league. I love his goal of 15 TDs this year and I strongly believe he’ll get it.
