@J I agree, but based on talent alone that was a steal. Fit is very important too and that is on the coaches to build a system around their talent. Like with Lamar, Ravens play way different than they did with flacco. They don’t have a set system. They base their system on their players. Hopefully browns will do the same.

He was top 25 on their draft board, so it’s more of a projection based ranking rather than a performance based one. Also, I genuinely don’t understand how evaluating every snap a player takes and attributing a grade to it is a “nerdy” stat.

Yvx27 bc stats sometimes get in the way, if I dude has 5 sacks against a shitty team and you just look at numbers you think he’s outstanding. But if I see a guy with 0 sacks on tape causing havoc, destroying double teams, the other team having to game plan around this individual I would much rather take the 0 sack guy then the 5 sack guy who had much less skill but got numbers due to poor competition.
@J pff takes stuff like that into account. It’s not just based on basic stats like sacks, ints, tds, yards.

AB did PERFECT! Free agency so far, draft, and I’m hoping will do the same going forward this offseason. Add Eric Reid, Jadeveon Clowney, keep Olivier Vernon, and find a solid backup LT…all that gets done and this will be the start of a dynasty!
