Chris K47 well think about it this way,he will be 32 next year and we gotta get someone in behind him and also Harris because Harris himself isn’t too young because by October he will be 29 so he will be fine for this year and prob next so I’m fine with a 2 year deal for him.would love to get rid of rudolph,thielen,cousins,reiff,Barr after this season hoping we get Lawrence after we go 4-12 this season.Gotta reload this team because the defense is almost already rejuvenated now it time for our offense too

@Sir MEEPS_ALOT eh i agree with some of that but not Thielen. Hes had one injury, and im sure he will have a good year this year. Hes only 29. I dont believe in getting rid of productive players just because they are aging. Have to give a good reason to get rid of them like consistent loss of production. I also dont believe in hanging on to them for too long, gotta find somewhere in between to let them go. If thielen has a bad year this year then sure.

Kirk just had the best year of his career, also was only his 2nd year as a viking & he is only 31. If he can follow up with another good year and get us back for another playoff run then again I dont see a reason to get rid of him. I actually feel even more strongly about that because I am so sick of the revolving door at quarterback. When someone pretty solid comes along, I believe you gotta give him a real chance. (Multiple years). No hes not peyton manning or tom brady, but you dont need a great QB to win a super bowl. History can tell you that. Just need a “good” QB, which I think kirk is.

Chris K47 Kirk is 32 at start of season and thielen is 30 at start of season.That hamstring injury will linger with him and Kirk only puts up stats.cant win big games

@Sir MEEPS_ALOT disagree. 32 is young as hell man what a joke lol. & that narrative is so exaggerated. Beat the cowboys in prime time last season and beat the very good saints team in the playoffs. Give the guy a chance FFS. As a viking he has done pretty good. Hard to judge the first year learning a new offense, and the second year we made it to the divisional round. Not concerned with his time at the redskins because he was still young enough to learn and develop his skills. You must like that revolving door huh? This team would suck forever if you gonna keep switching QBs when you find out you didnt get a Tom Brady.

@Sir MEEPS_ALOT & yeah thielen is coming to end of his career for sure but Larry Fitzgerald is 35. Not saying he will play that long but he could have a few good years left in him, if production declines then out he goes no big deal. As far as kirk being too old thats ridiculous. 32 is still prime for quarterback, and like i said he is coming off the best year of his career. Thats why we just gave him an extension. Something tells me the coaches and management agree. If they didnt think he had potential to get us to the super bowl he would be out the door like theyve done in previous years.
