I’m not trying to hat bc I love Matt and Brian but I gotta question this draft, why were they thinking???😱😱 no wr but 3 o-linemen. don’t get me wrong one is fine, but three in a row when KJ hill (3rd-4th round talent) blows my mind. By far the worst draft out of any team this year.
We dont know who had the best classes because nobody has played yet and im fine with spending the late picks on o line If at least one can become a starter in the next few years
Nobody played yet? Dude we played 49ers twice last year and got stomped both times. Tell me what we did to help them beat the 49ers this next season?????? Nothing!!!
@James LaBrue yeah and the rams stomped them in 2018 but one year later whoops they were in the superbowl stop having tunnel vision nobody even knows If San fran are going to be the team to beat next year

After years of not having a back-up that we could count on, wouldn’t it be nice to have one with a talented arm available. Love is a great contingency in case Rodgers is injured or decides to drive off into the sunset with Danica. If Aaron decides to play for another 5 years and still has what it takes, we trade Love along the way and if he shows big-time ability, we get a nice big draft pick for him. If he beats out Aaron along the way, our team will be improved. I don’t see the issue here at all. Since this is how Aaron ended up in GB, and remembering how Favre treated him, I bet he’s ok with it.

I don’t even know what to say anymore I feel sick with what this team did in the draft we got a whole bunch of trash wideouts and we don’t even get 1 in the draft a whole bunch of offensive lineman in 6 ,7th round that gonna be practice squaders
6th and 7th rounders are usually special teamers and pratice squad guys anyways
Look at how successful we have been signing undrafted fee agents. I’m excited to see what we do in that regard in the next couple days. I’ll bet we sign a few WRs. It’s obvious that LaFleur wants to emphasize the run, which will open up the passing game and we did get a versatile TE. Example, Allen Lazard was an undrafted free agent that we picked up from the Jag’s practice squad. He could easily be a regular starter next season.

@Adrian Buck They have a fairly young WR corp and it often takes WR’s a year or two to develop. Could see a major improvement in the ones they have already. Picking a rookie receiver and expecting him to make an immediate impact might not have worked either. AJ Dillion is more likely to contribute right away.
@soylentdean Most of their WR core is now in their third season. So far none has produced consistent. Hard to argue that they shouldn’t have tried to take advantage at some point in the draft.
My grandfather, who has been a fan of the Packers for 73 years, told me this was the single worst Packers’ draft he has ever seen. Thanks coach!

All depends on how Jordan Love develops. Kid looks like he’s got amazing potential and if he steps in 2-3 years from now when Rodgers retires and becomes an elite QB, Gute will look like a genius.
Oh, what does Pappy know about drafting football talent? Unless you grandfather is Ron Wolf, I’ll trust our professional talent evaluators.
@soylentdean It’s not Really on Love, he is for two or three years down the road. It depends how all the rest develop. If Dillion becomes a RB that defenses fear making Jones even more dangerous and Josiah is a versatile TE that attracts enough attention to open up things for Devante and Sternberger then the draft will be a success. If we can get one or two OL starters or capable back ups out of those three late round picks then the draft will be a success.
He must have not of watched all the drafts in those 73 years cause this one doesn’t even touch some of the drafts in the 70s and 80s that ended up having some of the biggest busts in NFL history on it.. these players haven’t even played yet, to early to call it one of the worst ever.. Lefleurs obviously focused on making this a run first team and it shows with this draft.. hopefully if these WRs don’t develop in year 3 which Gutz said he was expecting them to which is why they didn’t draft one then they may next year but it’s way to early.. people thought the year they drafted Rodgers was a terrible draft too.. everything’s to early until players are actually playing..
As bad as a draft this SEEMS to be, I’m still pretty damm excited to see how these guys can help us this year and in future years

Clearly, the Pack is trying to build a more dominant running game in the near future with this draft, something they likely would not have right now if Aaron Jones went down. In that regard, the Dillon and OL picks make sense.
Bottom dealing the fans for the bottom line.
I really like our coach….he’s young..he’s smart…and well liked.

A slap in the face (which I don’t think it was) is sometimes what’s needed. “Snap out of it.”
I hope Rodgers can play 3-4 more years like he wants to, but at 36 injuries and the ability to come back from them become a greater concern.
Best case scenario is Love sits and learns, but it is time to start grooming his replacement. We may have gotten a backup QB that can win some games if he goes down for a few weeks, too.
No wonder why you didn’t go 4th and 1 once during last season, you and Gute just had the longest punt in this offseason. All we are trying to do is to be poor version of 49ers ?!

Lafleur and Gutekunst should immediately be fired for that draft. Half of the players could have been signed as undrafted free agents.
Does Coach Matt LaFleur have any plans to trade the first pick for a future pick? Like ANYTHING. For this draft was the worst draft I have seen since the Robbie Bosco pick.

I’m literally outraged right now at what gutekunst has done since he’s been the GM…. Dexter Williams bust Josh Jackson bust rashan Gary could be a bust… J’mon Moore in the 4th what’s a bust and then he does what he does this year,???? How can we not question this man’s ability to be our general manager
I’m excited when this team goes 3 and out every drive with Lafleur’s high school running offense, and we all realize how fraudulent he is.
