Nugget Butter this was a fine pick our run defense has been garbage since 2015. He can fill in those gaps. Plus Kawan short only been really productive with another good defensive tackle like star. And if you leave kk or brown 1 on 1 he’ll win it. I get you want Simmons but this is how you start to rebuild or team START FROM THE FRONT FOUR.

This was actually a smart pick because our run defense has been one of the worst in the leagues the past years and now that we have Derrick brown they will have to double team him and kk can just go right past the double team and sack the quarterback and most of the time even when Derrick brown gets double team he shreds the blocks in about 2 seconds
Had we had a established Defense I could see the Isaiah Simmons pick but, had we drafted him offensive lineman would had got to the second level of our defense and carried him to the concession stands 🤷🏽♂️.. we won’t get ran on this year on 4th and 6🤦🏽♂️… Derrick Brown will make the players we have better. This is a process
People in the comments who think Simmons was the pick need to learn football last time I’m going to say it Shaq is already a hybrid player would you rather have a player that won’t get to the second level and get sucked in because he don’t have the presence of a Derrick brown or have a Derrick brown that can open things up for our d and get a pass rush and knock balls down and open really the whole defense up it’s a no brainer guys!!!
