Off the top of my head I can think of about six people that I personally know that we’re having draft parties and everything that don’t really know much about football. Ravens fans were just given one of the best college football running backs, and they’re complaining abt it. smh. JK all day baby!!
I think people are complaining that we didn’t need a running back and considering that Denzel Mims was still on the board during that pick, I personally would’ve preferred Denzel over JK since WR is more of a need than RB. Especially since theres Gus Edwards and Justice Hill(who was taken last year) I think we would’ve gotten more bang for our buck with Mims.

@Sauce Boss I dont really watch the Ravens a whole lot, asides from the highlights and the occasional game. So I can’t tell you the team’s needs and all. But John Harbaugh and Eric Decosta know what they’re doing and they know what the team needs better than anybody. I know for a fact what this kid can do and I think he is going to be something special for the Ravens.

Sauce Boss Mims was who they wanted at 60. They didn’t think another team would take him with the 56-59 picks. They took that risk and it didn’t pay off. Dobbins will be like a ray rice. Kid is a beast

Excellent player, excellent pick!! I did my own five-round mock draft (just for fun) before the draft started, and so far I got four of the Ravens picks correct; Patrick Queen, JK Dobbins, Devin Duvernay and Tyre Phillips. Given how difficult it really is to study all these players, let alone try and guess how the draft will play out and who the Ravens will prioritize, I feel pretty proud of that outcome.
Only ones I missed were Madubuike, who I thought would go earlier to the Vikings, and Malik Harrison — who I was convinced would be a New England Patriot. Both were such steals, it’s ridiculous! I also thought we would target Terrell Lewis with one of our second-round picks, though I can’t say I’m disappointed we went in the direction we did.
DeCosta is truly a genius, and he’s doing a masterful job of strengthening the weakest areas of the team. If we can manage to get him in the fourth-round, I would love for us to draft Antonio Gandy-Golden. I know the receiver room is starting to get a little crowded, but I feel like he’s exactly the big bodied receiver we need.
Also wouldn’t mind taking a chance on Alton Robinson, who could be a very solid edge-rusher for the future. Same with Jonathan Garvin. Both seem like they could potentially be cheap-yet-effective options at improving our defensive pressure.
Ricky Couture ravens have been an excellent organization from the moment I first started paying attention to them in 2000 when they won it all. It’s amazing that they have kept such a high standard and have been really successful in their short existence. I watch them even more because I am a big fan of Lamar Jackson

@Ricardo Vera — Same! The very first football game I ever watched was the Giants/Ravens Super Bowl in 2000.
That they’ve been consistently great since then is nothing short of amazing! It’s also a testament to Ozzie Newsome, and no Eric DeCosta. We’ve been spoiled with two of the sharpest football minds in NFL history.
I also love the transition from Ozzie to DeCosta. The timing couldn’t have been better, with the game itself transitioning from old-school to the new. DeCosta is made for today’s game!
The way he’s assembling this team around Lamar, while adding to the defense piece by piece, is just so exciting to watch. I genuinely pity the dysfunctional teams that can never manage to get ahead, especially on draft day. For the Ravens, I feel like the draft is literally when we win Super Bowls.
