lets go chiefs kingdom!!!!!!

Really proud of the work you guys are doing the draft, clearly the secret sauce of Kansas City Chiefs! Thank you and looking forward to the coming season.

Everyone is making a big deal about the running back selection. Andy’s playbook is fantastically full on power and to unleash it you need the correct people in the right places. Without all of the pieces it will be diluted. What if we haven’t seen the best our team could be?

I remember reading somewhere (Maybe BJ Kissel?) that apparently Andy Reid didn’t even empty the entire availability of plays he had in mind going into the SB. Apparently there are reports that Reid says there are ALOT of stuff that’s still up his sleeve…..good luck AFC/NFL….

    Kenneth Cadwell

I understand we need a true starter for the future and I like the RB pick. However with that said I still am upset with how the Chief’s continue to neglect the CB position…….

    Fenton looks pretty good…..

Ward is dang good at times but still has slip ups from time to time……

Breeland has sparks but then also holds to much……..

The Chief’s have not had a true #1 CB since Marcus Peters, and before that no true #1 since Dale Carter…….

Besides that it’s been patch work with average to below average CB’s…..

Now I know Veach went after Ramsey but the Jaguar’s screwed us on that……

But here in the draft both Bryce Hall and Troy Pride Jr. was still available, but instead went with OL. I hope he can play Guard because OT is not a need……..

I hope Bryce Hall drops another 30 picks but I doubt it………

    Kenneth Cadwell

@Chiefs Comeback Kings Clyde wasn’t only a fantastic choice, it was a need for the future. Darwin Thompson is the only RB that has a contract beyond this next season…..

The others will be free agents or have option clauses……

Gay was an excellent choice…Not only can he cover, which was a weakness last season with the LB’s, but he also plays with emotion…..

I was at first put off by Lucas Niang (OT), especially since I wanted Bryce Hall, but when I heard they plan to play him at Guard I was happy. Because that was a need……..

We will see what Veach does with the final two picks, and if somehow we still get Hall and Pride in the 4th. Then Veach will have another good draft under his belt……..

    Chiefs Comeback Kings

@Kenneth Cadwell I know that, but thanks for pointing out the obvious

Might wanna start buying those clyde edwards-helaire rookies cards right now. Guy could win 5 superbowls

Brett looks like a chemistry teacher trying to teach online class

Mike James

Was shocked when Dorsey got the 🥾 and was skeptical about Veach after the first draft… glad to say I was wrong. This dude is relentless and arguably has become one of, if not the best, GM in the league.

    Kenneth Cadwell

@Joseph Gietl sorry but no as all three Breeland, Ward, and Fenton are starters. Not second or third stringers……..

Second and third stringers means backups….

Breeland is the starter on the right, while Ward is the starter on the left, and Fenton is the Nickle starter in the middle replacing Kendall Fuller…..

Bryce Hall would either be a backup to Breeland or ward. Unless he comes in and plays better, and also if Breeland can’t stop the multiple penalties….

    Joseph Gietl

Kenneth Cadwell Bro lol that’s exactly what I said

    Kenneth Cadwell

@Joseph Gietl no you said would be a third or fourth string guy and would backup Fenton…….

Backing up Fenton would make him second string, not third or fourth…..

But if it’s Bryce Hall then no he would backup Breeland or Ward on the outside. And as I said if Breeland can’t stop the penalties then I would move Hall to starter……

    Joseph Gietl

Kenneth Cadwell you’re correct I misspoke on the string aspect. I meant 4th in line for snaps. Breeland cleaned up the penalties as the season progressed only really had one or two bad games from that stand point. I think Veach has done a good job finding cheap talent at the corner position and a potential franchise financially controllable left tackle a more premium position/ starting guard/ at the very least upgrade from cam Erving at swing tackle is a more essential pickup than Bryce hall. No way of knowing I’m all for holding the team up to scrutiny but having gone through the last twenty years as a fan imo this regime is the most competent by far and consistently wins. I find it unlikely corner goes unaddressed they added Hamilton from the giants who is physically gifted as well. I’m not advocating blind allegiance I’m advocating against blind dissidents. Niang isn’t even that much of a project he hasn’t given up a sack since 2017. They called Mahomes a project which I’m sure a lot of people had an issue when we drafted him too.

    Kenneth Cadwell

@Joseph Gietl I said I didn’t mind the picks so far, as I believe they were all needed positions…….

However I still believe we need a true #1 CB as the Safeties had to bail out the CB’s and LB’s way to much last season……

We are only 7 picks away from the Chief’s 4th round pick and Bryce Hall amazingly is still available. I hope it remains that way…..

Because if it wasn’t for the ankle injury Hall would have easily been a 1st round pick. If we get him here in the 4th that would be a steal…..

Frank Howard

Veach is doing a fantastic job.

Meanwhile … Adam Teicher is a certifiable tool, “Hey Brett, do you feel like to maximize Pat’s talents, you need to keep him surrounded with good offensive skill players?” I mean … seriously? He collects a paycheck from ESPN? My God in Heaven … Teicher makes me want to drink bleach.

Brett veach is one of the best GM in the league

Daniel herrmann

Day three I’m more comfortable with our #1 pick, really happy with 2nd and 3rd. Can’t wait for 4 and five and maybe even more.

SSA INVINCIBLEx

Man i already know Brett Veach is hung like a horse. Freaking mastermind!

J Woe

I love Damien Williams and what he has done the last two playoffs. That said, I distinctly remember during this last season how many people were lamenting that we did not have Kareem Hunt to fully unleash the power of our offense on a weekly basis. We just picked the best guy in this draft to put our offense into overdrive.
