The $1.2 million lead gift from Mrs. Gayle Benson to the GNOF has inspired others to spring into action and do whatever it takes to heal our community. – The Greater New Orleans Foundation stands ready to assist in the aftermath of tragedy. In partnership with Mayor Cantrell and community leaders, they have launched the New Orleans New Year's Day Tragedy Fund.
