@Zach Maudie *I Don’t Think So…Hurts Is A Big Name With Big Stats That Did It On Two Huge College Teams And It Worked Out Amazing On Paper Right Now… Eagles Just Drafted Another Wr And Traded For Goodwin…3 Speedy WR’s In 3 Days…So That Makes Jalen The Legit Backup/Run/Pass Option Maker Now… Which Is Very Needed If You Knew One Of the Biggest Problems The Eagles Have Had Was Short Yardage…This Helps That Need A Lot.*
@Jekyll Hyde all the stuff I’ve heard where people talked to NFL GMs, they had him as a late 3rd early 4th. With 3 4th round picks, they could have moved up to the early 4th and got him then. Go watch literally anyone that covers the draft and they will tell you hurts is not a 2nd round pick.

@Jekyll Hyde GMs lie about players they are gonna take not players they don’t want. Nobody thinks that CB pick for the raiders is a good pick either lol so idk why you’d bring that up. They didn’t have a gap smh they clearly passed on players like Mims or Epenesa for a guy that was a 3rd to 4th round pick on probably everyone else’s draft boards

Trading a second to move up would be too much. They’d be able to get 2 receivers instead. Of course in this case, they went for one receiver and a back up utility QB. And if he plays well enough, he may hold value like Jimmy Garoppolo did
First of all it’s starts at 2:25 and secondly none of the picks should feel bad. It’s not their fault they were picked. The fan based wanted the Eagles to draft differently, we can’t always have what we want. 🤷
Stop. This isn’t a case of “they didn’t draft who we wanted” like the whole McNabb thing. This is a “none of this makes any sense” type of pick. There’s no logical reason for drafting a back up QB in the 2nd round when your franchise QB is 27 years old, just signed a huge extension, and is playing at a high level.
