Why? He instantly fills two big holes that we have, LB and Safety. He won’t play both but we will be able to fill the other hole from the inside. Also, we can get a OT in the 2nd round or through trade.
@Κωνσταντίνος Λυμπερούδης we can get a LB/Safety in later rounds or trade as well. the most important part of any team anymore in the NFL is protecting the QB. nothing else. we need the best LT’s out there. not settling for lesser talents in that position. i totally understand your view on it, but i look at the best teams in the league, they’re offensive driven and they all protect the QB. We are close to that…we just need a LT
@Brian H With what I’m hearing and reading the last few days, I don’t think the top tier OTs will be available at 10. So I have no idea what we will do, but I love Simmons and I would like to see him in a Browns uniform.
@Κωνσταντίνος Λυμπερούδης from what i’m reading, it appears only 2 or 3 LT’s will be taken before Browns. There are 4-5 that i would be perfectly fine with at #10 but they won’t be there in rd2. i guess we will find out in 28hours
