We never traded Joe. He was a Free Agent and left for more money than Browns felt comfortable in giving him.

Getting rid of Joe was incredibly stupid. This is where analyticals goes off the rails. U lost an all pro linebacker. Even if he doesn’t make another pro bowl, thats a bona-fide NFL linebacker. Not to mention an A-class guy. Huge loss
If your #1 option isn’t available at pick 10, they should do like I did here on my mock draft from nflmockdraftdatabase and trade down a few times into the later part of the 1st and gain more picks to spend on quality players that can make an impact. An upside to this, with the added picks you can get one of the top 4/5 WRs in the draft with pick 41. And Joe Bachie LB from Michigan State is very underrated so far heading into this draft and will be an absolute steal if he is truly available in the late 4/early 5 round range. Chris Orr would be a great addition for depth behind whoever we will have starting this year. Baun got all the attention at Wisconsin this year, but Orr had some nice stats as well. He had 14 or 15 Tackles For Loss and like 10.5 or 11.5 Sacks this last season. He would help us in pass rush, as well as on special teams coverage right from the beginning.
