@Alex yeah WR could be best available as well but I’d rather have an offensive lineman because after the first round, OL talent drops off significantly. Becton, Wirfs, Wills, and Thomas are the top offensive lineman in the draft and are all first rounders. Can always get a good receiver still in Aiyuk or Claypool in the second or third round.
@deven_ with 2 e’s low key our front seven got better this off season moving Jack to his natural position.and having a true mlb.We added big bodies dt to tie up blockers. If you are ahead on the scoreboard u dont have to worry about a team running the ball🤷🏾♂️ .If Derrick brown is Arnold Donald by all means take him. I just feel we need a offense.alot of teams in the league have subpar defense. They offense pick up the slack and 🤷🏾♂️

Yes, more offense is better these days and a new LT and another receiver would be great for us because building around minshew is key but again we can’t get gashed in the run game like we did last year so that’s why I’m defending the possibility of picking Derrick brown
If Simmons falls to us and they play him at free safety that will be good. Jeudy or lamb to pair with chark and Westbrook in the slot. Give minshew more weapons. If not it dont matter how good brown or anybody is against the run. They will get tired eventually. Teams that are winning in the league are producing points 🤷🏾♂️.That’s what made out defense so dominated in 2017. We was usually always up teams get down they throw the ball. Which played right Into out strengths.Because our defense wasn’t worried about the run. They could pin their ears back and rush.

Exactly. Simmons is definitely better even though we don’t necessarily need him since schobert was signed and Jack is moved back to weakside backer where he’s best at. Simmons is just a guy you don’t want to pass up on and will be a pro bowler/all pro imo.
