Now it is fortunate that most people place Jeudy Ruggs & Lamb at the top 3 [usually in that order which is absurd!- Lamb is the ABSOLUTE BEST of those 3 WR’s & Jeudy & Ruggs might BOTH be BUSTS due to their size] because if ELWAY reads this comment & sees the wisdom in it he will recognize that a TRADE DOWN gets us:
Jefferson, Mims or Higgins… and JJ is my 2nd BEST WR this draft!
If as a #2 opposite Court we had Jefferson, Mims or Higgins would you suggest we did not have one of the top 5 WR tandems in the NFL & as a group it would be like 2013/2015 all over again

DeShaun hamilton, Tim Patrick & Juwan Winfree as the #3 WR is plenty of ammo especially if we can use a 4th or 5th and also get speedy Quez Watkins!
Watkins is on absolutely NO ONES RADAR! he is not even projected for the 4th round… so we could get him easily with last 3rd or 4th maybe even a 5th which I assure you would be the steal of the draft:
Dude runs a sub 4.4 40! They officially clocked him at 4.35 however he can run a 4.31 so forget Jeudy as Watkins has higher leap & better Broad Jump… also Jeudy appears faster since he is a polished route runner… you can’t teach 4.31 speed DeShaun Hamilton & our coaches can teach route running!
I would feel way better using a 4th or 5th on Watkins than a 1st on Jeudy & there is NO WAY I would trade up in this draft for any WR
Wirfs, Okudah- I would trade up with Cards to #8 but not be happy about that considering what I could do in 2021 at BOTH these positions by trading down NOW!
Kinlaw- I would trade up to #13 BUT AGAIN I WOULD not BE HAPPY SINCE THIS IS not A DRAFT TO WASTE PICKS going up for a guy with all the talent available if you simply pick at #15 or even better TRADE DOWN! Get a 1st rndr for 2021 or a 2nd rndr this year plus other
then take BEST WR with exchanged 1st rndr = J Jefferson, Mims or Higgins & then use extra 2nd on Best OC or OT or trade back into 1st & get Best OT
It is quite possible with this strategy you even still get Queen ILB in the 2nd Rnd since he sprained a hammy at the combine & may fall simply due to that injury… is Murray better than Queen?… under Fangio?!!?

NOW THAT is a match up problem for any DEF will very much take the heat off of Lock & the Oline… not too much though we want Lock to DEVELOP the important habits of fast release & fast reads like Manning… it will take time for him to be able to master the pre-snap stuff like Manning & we really want him able to release in 2 seconds sometimes sub2 seconds for goal line stuff
