@Too Frosty I’m tired of this narrative. Mitch has terrible times through his progression, constantly overthrows open receivers, and isn’t accurate on deep throws. That has nothing to do with oline or receivers.

@Nathan B. The pass blocking needed more coordination sure, but Mitch isn’t a playmaker. If you actually watch the games you can see Mitch making bad throws in clean pockets constantly. That’s on nobody but him. Yes the oline needs upgrades. Gabriel was too jumpy and Miller is a little inconsistent, but Wims, CP, and ARob are playmakers whenever they’re on the field. He has options, no excuses

Only if they don’t do well, but I think they will honestly. They both obviously care about the team based on the picks, it’s not an easy job so don’t be so critical.

AGK927 Jimmy Graham was questionable, Idefi was for depth, I like the Foles signing because it’s a perfect scheme fit. I felt like Jacksonville was a horrible place for him to go to. Assuming things go to plan we’re signing a replacement tackle in Osmele Kelechi for Massie because his contract is up soon. Regardless of what happens in FA, we’re drafting a TE, an OG for sure. Maybe some more positions to be retooled but the offense hopefully won’t be as limited by Trubisky. If Trubisky is our starter and DOESNT show up then we’re not beating anybody this year. His decision making is awful, doesn’t take the risks unless it’s in the 2minute drill, etc. The offense has a strong chance to go from 4th worst to top ten if Nagy can actually have the chance to use his real playbook instead of the limited one he has to use for Trubisky.
My prayers are w Da Coach and the whole bears org. keep the studs healthy and happy. I wanna live to see another superbowl but that’s probably not gonna happen if they don’t draft an O-lineman

Bad Boi bears The players like Mitch, but they obviously see the same film everybody else does. I’m sure the players are good with having a competition at QB.
I think Mitch is going to start and have his last chance and nick is a safety net backup. If neither of them performs well, say goodbye to Nagy and pace lol they’re barely hanging on. This season will be beautiful or a disaster
Nagy let go a chunk of his offensive staff acknowledging that last season was on the coaches and not Trubisky but now he and Pace are crossing their fingers that Foles is the savior. No way they actually think this is good for Trubisky. Total cluster in Chicago.
The offensive coordinator and O-line coach that were let go were in charge of the run game. Thats why they got let go. The run game was on the coaching staff, but the pass game was not. Mitch struggled to see the field all year and missed openings all year. Competition should be good for him. He needs to process defenses faster and if he wins the job, Foles is a massive value that will further help Trubisky in the film room. I wouldn’t call this situation a cluster
@Kamaro You watched as many game as I did last season I’m sure and it was obvious the play calling was atrocious for most of the year especially before the break. Run up the gut 1st. Run on 2nd. 3rd and long all game. That leads to rushed and inaccurate passes. And not enough short dump safety valve options available to Mitch. When Trubisky was finally allowed to show off his speed and elusiveness he did well. Nagy and coaching staff wasted an entire season.

I love what their doing. Bringing in a ton of athletes, first round busts and getting great coaches to bring out the best in them. Love the competition at quarterback and the 2 tight ends with (burton, Graham). Defense is better, more competition at o line. Now we need to draft some guards/ tackles and some depth at wr

We know they wanted Teddy. Jameis or Teddy would have been great. The Jags are paying Foles 18M this year NOT to play for them this year. No way are the Bears paying Foles all that cash to ride the bench.

Pace keeps having to spend big money to replace his 1st round busts. He has to do better in the 1st Rd in the future!!
