Lions vs. Seahawks Week 4 Preview | Twentyman in the Huddle

On this episode of the Twentyman in the Huddle podcast presented by Microsoft, Tim Twentyman previews the Detroit Lions’ second primetime game of the season when they host the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. First, Tim welcomes the Detroit Free Press’ Dave Birkett to the studio to go over the three keys to the game. Dave and Tim talk about how the Lions need to limit Seattle’s big pass plays, establish run-game dominance on both sides of the ball and fill the void with the loss of Marcus Davenport on the defensive line.

Next, Tim hosts defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike, who begins by sharing how great it feels to be fully healthy and having a true offseason with the bonus of new defensive line coach Terrell Williams. Levi also talks about his perspective on the loss of Davenport, the ability of Josh Paschal to potentially fulfill Davenport's role and the importance of Aidan Hutchinson on the edge.

After praising defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn’s gameplan and sharing what he’s seen from Seattle, Seahawks Senior Digital Media Reporter John Boyle calls in to share all the latest news out of Seattle. John provides some updates on the injury front, analyzes the play of running back Zach Charbonnet in Kenneth Walker III’s absence and shares what he thinks is the catalyst to Seattle’s strong 3-0 start. John also previews Seattle’s top-ranked pass defense and its passing attack, spearheaded by quarterback Geno Smith and the wide receiver trio of DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Stay tuned for more postgame coverage of Lions-Seahawks following Monday night’s game at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan!
