I just hope that if the Steelers resigns him that he wasn’t playing this good just because it was his contract season
If they tag him, then he will have another contract year this season. So the tag is probably the best move.
They’re gonna have to raise the cap level. I dont want to have to decide between hargrave and dupree. Course dupree is on the field way more than hargrave.

Bud Dupree needs to stay with the Steelers even if they can’t give him quite as much as he wants it’s best for his career. He will learn real fast if he goes to another team and he don’t have TJ watt on the other side and that star-studded defense how hard it is to be a stand alone star. He will get one big contract with a new team have a few bad years and then all of a sudden he’s off the map. He’s perfect and will excell on the steelers. Take that longetivty over the quick payday and he will make more money in the end. Taking the quick payday is not always the best option especially for defensive guys. So he should take a few million less. Just a few and we can make it up to him on the back end. Bud Dupree ain’t the same player without tj watt just like jj watt ain’t the same without Clowny, just like juju ain’t the same without ab (to be fair he had scrubs throwing him the ball this year and didnt get many targets let’s see what happens next year) they need each other. I’m telling y’all unless he goes to another star studded defense he will be average at best.
