This sounds like a great program! Thanks to Dolly Parton and the Cleveland Browns for creating and sustaining this opportunity to get books into kids hands and homes.
Is there some sort of commitment from the parent/s to read the books to and with the kids? This may be THE most important factor in getting kids to read.
Also, who chooses to books the kids read??? Are kids consulted in this part of the process? I realize babies can’t select books, but I think the most important part of keeping kids reading, is having access to content they WANT to read. Thanks for sharing!
