Only an idiot would draft Tua and ignore defense in a win now year. We are taking Simmons if we stay at 3

    BEN DIESEL

A_BruhMan HAHAHAHAHA dude guess what, the best teams that make the playoffs and go to the Super Bowl what do they alll have in common? They can run the ball. Being able to run the ball when you want to is the most important thing on your offense. Caldwell was our coach for 4 years. Guess how many times we ran the ball over 100 yards in a game over 4 seasons. One time that is comical and shows Caldwell doesn’t understand the importance of having a run game.

    BEN DIESEL

Angelo Ljuljduraj listen being able to
Run the ball on offense when you want to is the most important thing. You can burn the clock in the 4th quarter, you can create long drives which keeps your defense fresher and tires out the opponents defense and finally when a team can stop the run then eventually they have to
Move up their safety’s to try and stop the run which opens up your wrs and making passing the ball much easier. You want to praise caldwell? Haha that’s a joke. The 4 years he was here we ran over 100 yards only 1 game in 4 years. That’s an absolute joke.

    BEN DIESEL

Hatters House 710 lol these guys think Caldwell was so great Hahahaha the 4 seasons he was our coach we only ran over 100 yards 1 game in 4 seasons. That’s a joke. Caldwell was not a good coach.

    BEN DIESEL

Hatters House 710 man I’m with you on everything you said and got your back lol. Man some people just don’t get it and never will

    Hatters House 710

BEN DIESEL much appreciated. I mean I was once a delusional young little wipper snapper like some of these other “fans”and thought I knew football. It wasn’t until I actually started doing research and studying the game did I then realize how little I actually knew.

Angelo Ljuljduraj

Simmons is LITERALLY what Patricia wants… a versatile player, that’s all he talks about. If we don’t pick him we are stupid.

    Diego Ospina

Him or Okudah or if possible Chase Young. Nothing more than those three players

    RED

I love Simmons and can’t wait to see him in the NFL… But he’s not Okudah. That guy is as good as it gets. Okudah is a lot closer to Chase Young’s level then Simmons is to Okudah’s level… That said, if Okudah is gone by 5 then give me Simmons.

Noah Cascio

Bradlee Anae in the 2nd round!

    Diego Ospina

Him or the DT from TCU

    BEN DIESEL

Love anae second round especially if we trade back with Miami and get 2 second round picks. He killed it in the senior bowl

Chryptopher Lionceo

There are certainly quite a few options. But I have to reserve judgement at this point. I’ve heard many possibilities for the Lions to draft at #3 and they are almost all legit(except Tua, just stay away). The real question lies in how they spend their money as they attack free-agency. You can pretty much plan how much you need to set aside to pay the rookie class. So they must have a very good idea of how much they can spend on free agents. They do need to solve this Slay situation before free-agency starts so they can fill that hole if need be. But the signings they make here will set the table for how they attack the draft. So leave as many possibilities open as you can and keep everyone talking. Maybe someone trades up to #2 and 2 QB’s go first and the Lions land Young. Maybe it goes to plan early (QB, Young) and someone gives the Lions a great package to move up to #3 for the other QB. Maybe the Dolphins decide to pass on the early QB but still give a haul to move up to #1 or #2 for Young and quite possibly leave the Lions without a trade partner and they have to pick a player at #3. They look to be ready for all of these situations. And if they make some big scores in free-agency they will be best prepared for anything that happens on draft day.

    Angelo Ljuljduraj

Chryptopher Lionceo we know if the lions trade back they are 100% wanting Okudah instead of Simmons, because NY will pick him at #4

    Mommy Dolly

Good points you made 👍 but according to Dave Birkett the Lions will not be big spenders during free agency this year he said look for them to make small deals like a Danny Amendola one-year signings of 5 to 6 mill ( that’s it ) so another words signing 30 year olds to patch up that defensive line…Gawd if that’s true there in trouble!

BLacK Rose641

No , Derrick Brown or the linebacker from Clemson, both on the some level as any OT or WR . day two go WR or RB you’ll find a Difference do to the depth at those positions.

    Arturo Lopez

BLacK Rose641 Okudah or Derrick Brown

    BEN DIESEL

BLacK Rose641 if we can trade back to 5
With Miami for 2 second rounders then I hope
We draft taylor or dobbins with one of
Those second round picks. I believe we will draft a wr 4th round because it’s the deepest wr class ever and 27 of them are valued as a first or second round pick meaning by the 4th round we can grab a wr for value that normally would go in the second round.

Modest Rodent

Damn man I want simmons so bad but if we don’t pick him at 3 and trade out, the Giants most likely will grab him at 4.

PredatorKingdom

NO TO TUA! YES TO SIMMONS OR OKUDAH! I really want Simmons dude is a beast you can build a whole defense around him easily.

Arturo Lopez

You don’t gamble on Jeff okudah! This isn’t soaring eagle!

    Hatters House 710

Exactly. Okudah at 3 is way too risky. We got slay in the second so that should tell these casual fans something.

nuk fuggetz

buddy have u seen our linebacking corps? 2 of our starters are the worst linebackers in the nfl, WERE TAKING SIMMONS

Elijah Houston

Joe Burrow is the G.O.A.T

D money

Jeff okudah is really great pick. Ive been thinking Isaiah Simmons even before he ran that 4.39. He is a hybrid linebacker that can play strong or even free safety.

    Hatters House 710

Okudah is too risky at 3. If we trade out of the top 10 which I highly doubt then we could look at him but we have way too many holes to take a Cb at 3

    Brandon Harmon

We grab Simmons and can’t pass on him

D money

Ill be happy with either okudah or simmons tho.

    Brandon Harmon

Simmons hopefully tho since he can pretty much do everything plus runs a 4.39. We better snatch him up

Jayson Bailey

Love Renner.

BEN DIESEL

Yet again never trust a man with a pony tail. He did not mention Simmons once or Derrick brown. Hahaha not to mention he said cb ot or wr are the best value at 5? Are you kidding me? Hahaha wow ot is a only good pick out of those 3 he suggested if we needed one but we don’t. Does he not understand that this is the deepest wr class ever and we can draft a wr in the 4th round that normally would go in the second round? I feel like he has no idea what he’s talking about.

Anthony L

TRADE BACK WITH MIAMI AND GET MORE PICKS!! MULTIPLE PEOPLE THEY WANT WITH BE THERE AT 5!!

Mommy Dolly

If Washington takes Tua and Young fall’s to 3 and the Lions pass and take Jeff okudah I SWEAR I’M PUNCHING A DAMN WALL p.s. would rather have Simmons over Okudah
