Ok Joe

Hello my favorite team

Nate Lowe

One of the Best QB-WR Duos in today’s generation of NFL

Falcon BANE77

The Falcons have been in the SB, NFC championship Game, and Wildcard game the last three election years. 2008, 2012, 2016. Let’s keep that trend for another run.

    Very interesting..fact…Go Falcons!!

    SportsLiveInTheAtl

Well said This season has just been so disapointing

    Falcon BANE77

@SportsLiveInTheAtl it really was. Since the adjustments alot to look forward too. Let’s hope they act as if Dan is on the hot seat the whole season.

Do u know joe

Dan Quinn has proven that he knows what this team needs. He saw adjustments that needed to made, and he made them (albeit a little late but he still did). This football team is willing to run through a brick wall for him, and if that’s the case, I’m with the team because they’re the ones playing, not me. Let’s carry this momentum into next year now that we have a working system.

    Jeremycole

@Samuel Davis but you know GM’s want to bring in their guy so the gm will have to be familiar with Quinn TD most underrated trait is being able to work with the coach with personnel

    Tejsh Desai

Jeremycole Bro. We did get rid of everyone last year. And look what happened this year because of it. Changing systems over and over again isn’t going to help this team AT ALL. If anything it’ll just waste both Matt Ryan’s and Julio Jones’s primes.

    Samuel Davis

I can’t disagree with that assessment.

    Samuel Davis

    What about Ito Smith?

    Jeremycole

@Tejsh Desai I agree with that but for ppl saying get rid of TD and keep Quinn don’t make since

SportsLiveInTheAtl

This team has confused me like no other such a dissapointing season. I cant believe the teams we beat and the teams we have lost to. It’s all WHAT IF.. SMDH

Jeremycole

If u keep Quinn you keep everybody including TD and koetter no way you get rid of either if Quinn is back

cgrant1202

I have never seen DQ at at press conference without a Falcons shirt on…. Man I don’t want to see him go. No quality coaches on the market right now. Plus I believe in Q!!!!! We don’t need to change team philosophy again to many changes isn’t necessarily a good thing. #rise up

    Allstar22

cgrant1202 I agree. Quinn already brought a philosophy that any coach should bring into their team. Brotherhood in this league is super important. It’s a shame it took them so long to start playing the way they should have at the start.. but me along with everyone else just has to hope they keep the fire going into next year. I think He just put too big of a load on his back, being the head coach alone I can imagine is already tough. That being said, next year will be better. Rise up baby!

    Don W

Every coach in the league has to worry their teams gear at work every day. He is nothing special. He’s a choke artist.

    Don W

Allstar22 that’s what we said last year

    cgrant1202

@Don W your probably one of the many half A** falcons fan that think we should draft a QB this year and that Matt is Garbage…. So do me this… I never object to people opinion….. But do me this…. Name someone you would like to replace our current staff. I have one in mind…. But I don’t like his offensive style of play as he don’t like to run the ball as much I would like…. Just let me know what’s choice

    Tejsh Desai

    Exactly

Good Looking Honkey

It doesn’t matter! !!!! Find a real coach! !! We are going to fail next year if we keep him! !! Can’t believe yall want that again! !!

    Byron Jones

I almost never agree with u, but this one here I do. I know the players luv him but that’s not not good enough.

    Albert Maddox

He can be a nice guy somewhere else 😇

Albert Maddox

We should get a college coach for our next head coach

everybody keep throwing the blame on quin hes not out there playing 6-9 football the players are not all of them but honestly as a falcons fan 7-9 two seasons in a row or 6-10 after a 7-9 season after we was in a superbowl is unacceptable especially with a julio on your team seriously winning season losing season julio always plays the same never quits thats y hes the best wide receiver in all of football he deserves a ring for his own team handing it away after he caught a unbelievable catch to kill the patriots comeback if he retires without a trophy thats will always be remembered

T.j Masters

offensive line defensive line ik injuries but no excuses has been soft past 2 years especially against afcs who the falcons have a hard time with if quin gets fired its the players fault not his

Tejsh Desai

People need to understand that changing systems over and over again is not going to help this team AT ALL. If anything it’s gonna confuse the players and waste both Matt’s and Julio’s prime years because of all the new adjustments that need to be made. I say we keep Quinn because now it looks like he knows what he is doing, and this team is looking good by beating some of the best teams in the NFC this year after the bye week.

Jeter Baldwin

Dan Quinn is a good coach and who don’t think so don’t know much they just didn’t have it together this year but next year is going to be different wait and see 14-2 or better brotherhood!!!!😝😝🏈

Nice

I believe TD will be fired and DQ will keep his job, bc Arthur Blank stated that he wants to see how the team progresses after their 1-7 start.

Yes, I was like everyone else calling for DQ to fired (along with TD) bc I was just as pissed and frustrated as anyone was.

However, since the BYE week, I have seen vast defensive improvement on this team. I see defenders flying to the ball, creating turnovers and so forth. Now, where all that was to start the season???

As for the offense, aside from Matt’s and Julio’s star staying power, I’ve seen the offensive play calling pedestrian at best. I don’t think Dirk Koetter quite gets how to run an offense in today’s NFL. As everyone said during last off-season, he was a comfortable hire and Matt was familiar with him. However, much of the league has changed since he and Matt were together the first time.

It was when Koetter called a screen pass on a 3rd and short (less than six inches) against the 49ers, and Freeman got dropped for a three yard lose. It’s those moments I’m like, “What the Hell are you thinking?” Anytime Freeman gets the ball in a screen pass, he can barely get back to the line of scrimmage. He tries to dink and duck so much and dance around trying to miss guys, that by then, he has four defenders around him already and he ain’t going anywhere.

All in all, I hope the scenario is DQ is retained bc I believe (if they can beat Tampa) going 6-2 after the BYE and beating the Saints and 49ers (both playoff teams) on the road, does warrant DQ one more year to get it right. However, I do feel TD and Dirk Koetter need to be sent packing.

TD has a very hard time within the first three rounds, especially with lineman (the jury is still out on Lindstrom and McGary but signs do point up) bc his past lineman picks and FA have sucked so bad that their either not on the team anymore or already out of the league. Hell James Carpenter is finishing the season in IR and Jamon Brown lost his spot when Lindstrom returned lol Plus, Ty Sambreilo lost his job to a rookie too in Caleb McGary.

So, as long as TD and Dirk Koetter aren’t here next year, I’m good with DQ staying. But then again, the only person who knows what’s going to happen is Arthur Blank himself……thus speculation will continue until we know for sure. But, here’s a hint……typically after every season, DQ and TD do an end of the year presser. If that doesn’t happen after next Sunday, then we’ll know that one or both DQ and TD are gone.
