Marky always wanted out of Oakland. he tried every place for months. Oakland tried to work with him. they could have kept the stadium and built a small 55,000 seat stadium with commercial, parks, museum, residential in the land, with the baseball park across the highway on the waterfront. also, why didn’t Gruden call a play action pass with 5 sec to go after that (i agree) pure crazy bs call? it would have taken it to the 2 min warning just like another stupid run, but would have caught the D completely off guard. in the second half all season, they called plays not to lose.

@usdm420 news flash. the game was meaningless thanks to 3 weeks of blowouts. and Marky screwed you over big time. why the big “celebration”? he wanted and tried to leave for years. they could have built a 55,000 seat stadium (without the need for a top,duh) Raider museum, parks, commercial and residential and moved the A’s to a small ball park on the other side of the highway by the bay and still kept playing in O while this was being done. now you got a plastic stadium in a plastic city. the NFL will favor them now to sell the move. so will the “star” refs.

@mike b exactly. I thought this loss was not on our defense they played well enough particularly mullen who I’m excited we have now and only need to find his partner on the other side. Offense should have put more than 16 points on the board and Gruden Carr and the rest of the offense minus Jacobs and Hudson is to blame.

5 yards should have been given back along with the timeout,offense can’t score in the second half,got to stay in attack mode

The refs and the NFL flat out jobbed the raiders again. They tilted the game to give the Jags a chance. Its not just incompetence. it happens too often to be incompetence. The NFl loves these nail biters the refs have helped engineer the last couple of decades.

yeah. i got kinda numb after the 3 blowouts leading up to this game. and am still pissed because Marky never wanted to make a deal to stay. what’s with the big fan celebration? they got screwed. it could have been a wonderful multi faze development. Al should have named Amy as his successor. like Hugh said (and yeah he was and is a predominate). just fix the D. it still isn’t.

I agree. We move the ball easy the first half and D looks decent. Then the 3rd we tank but then make the 4th look competitive so we dont look like a tanking in purpose.
