We are still going to win with out Mike
We won despite Staley. He has sharpened our defense I will give him that. However we folded against the broncos, who have one of the worst offenses this season and they dropped 31 on our starters. He hasn’t done as much as you think. After an entire season of dealing with injuries why would you risk hurting your players more just to lose all the momentum we built the past 4 weeks? With Williams missing 2-3 weeks during the playoffs, if Staley doesn’t pull out a win against the jags then we gotta stop giving him chances.
Sharpened against who?good stretch against backup QBs and garbage teams is who.
Now is the time to stand up and show the rest of the league who you are. Get it done. It’s been a hot minute since we have smelled the playoffs and others are putting Burrow above our boy because of last year. Let’s do this. Go Bolts
Burrow is really good, but Herbert definitely has a higher ceiling. His arm strength and ability to throw the ball into the tightest windows is insane. Sucks he was injured along with his top 2 WRs this season but we made the playoffs I hope he proves himself.
He is only higher because he has real coach

Problem is when your scheme is dependent on wide receivers who can break tackles you need physical players in the short passing game. Right now we have 3 healthy receivers at wide receiver. Not really sure how you go on without Mike especially when you don’t have a great play action game incorporated to give your receivers that you elevate a chance….
