Got a lot to build on but future can be bright
After 2 minutes i just have to pause and comment… This is our guy. Joe Douglas gets it, he cares about this team and I believe he’s doing everything under his power to make this team as good as it can be. He’s had his hits and misses like any GM but the good WAY outweighs the bad. Lock this guy up long term.
@Bear 7453 No no no… he didnt just “hit”… that was a HISTORIC draft, every GM prays they have 1 of those in their lifetime. Thats not the standard he should be held to every draft class lol but im very optimistic with the moves he has made. His drafting and trading skills are the best the Jets have ever had.

@Bear 7453 I love Quinnen and his play warrants a higher pay grade, but JD has to do what is best for the team and that includes the cap. If extending Quinnen checks both boxes this offseason, then that’s what he should do.
@Bear 7453 AVT, Elijah Moore and both Michael Carters are phenomenal when healthy/used right…
@Chris N I’d say AVT is above average and the only player of those that is the solid starter in the league is MCII; Elijah asked for a trade and michael Carter was very inconsistent unfortunately.
One of the biggest changes is having a good quarterback coach and offensive coordinator.. i heard plenty of respected ppl say it that teams literally knew the plays we were running and it became that obvious.. even g wilson says it all the time and did today again or how they play way to safe.. i remb watching Kurt warners breakdown of the jets offense and zach wilson, he literally blamed ML the OC and that he was making it very difficult for zach and was not doing what fits him.. i mean it was pretty obvious watching a lot of games this year of the ridiculous calls and not scoring touchdowns no matter who was in.. trust me i love keeping the same guys and i hate changing it up every other year, thats not how u win and i feel like mike is actually a cool good guy but if they really dont think he can change/grow then we need to make a change
Definitely need a new OC. It’s also a form of adversity for Saleh: can he fire his buddy? We’ll see. We’ll just have to wait 6 months

The very first step to upgrade this team is to go find them a legit experienced OC.

Without a doubt! Magical Mike “No Score” LaFleur is a disgrace and pox on this organization. Period!!
In hindsight this was a huge error not having an OC with experience when you’re bringing in a rookie QB and Head Coach. There were too many people trying to figure it out at the same time
And that Experienced, Proven OC… MUST be able to adapt to get the most out of his players in creative ways that suit their unique traits, and adjust to injuries, opponents, QB weaknesses (bc there will be many) and not be so stubborn they are leaving good talent on the bench bc they don’t know 4 positions.

My gosh, enough with the Zach stuff already from the reporters. He’s very likely finished in NY and everyone knows it.
Douglas is going to shop at the very top of the market for QBs this offseason. He knows he needs to be correct about the next QB. Outside of that and O-Line this team is in pretty good shape right now. Got to keep adding pieces.
Damn I didn’t know Will Sasso was the Jets GM. I’ve wondered what he’s been up to since Mad TV.
Bottom line- need a competent QB & an OLine that can stay HEALTHY!!!!!

Embarrassing losses and finishing last in the division. That’s what has happened since he has taken over as GM. He needs to turn the corner next year.

Absolutely love this GM. He is exactly what this franchise needed to be a contender year in and year out. This is our guy and every off-season this team gets more elite players because of him.

Joe D is the man, the greaatest GM in the league in my opnion. He has done a great job in building this team up from nothing. adding pieces all around the team to build a great defense, and a bunch of weapons on offense. Our last major step here is building that O-line, whethere we have to dip, double dip, triple Dip, this will be the finshing piece to making our team a top 5 team in the NFL. It sucks we had horrible luck with the mehki becton pick, with his injuries, but hope for the best for him, and we need to make this O-line elite. AN elite o-line will not only help improve the pass protection for Zach, or any QB behind our center, but also make our running game even more elite, behind our great backs that we have. It will maxmize the potential of our wideouts, when the QB has more. Lets finsh what we started here, and please focus on the O-line heavy this offseason. atleast two elite draft picks should go towards elite day 1 starters on the o-line!! its amazing what 5 man can do to move the chains on the football field.
Zach has to go. Jets has a perfect opportunity to fix these problems.
