Realistically speaking, it’s going to take 2-3 years to get a fundamentally complete team that can make a playoff run. Rebuilding takes time and players need to time to develop, grow, and gel.
Excited for Velus to have a clean slate next year. Hes exciting when he gets the ball in his hands
these past few games he’s been showing some REALLY good signs. I think we as Bears fans need to be more patient with some of our players and not write em off too soon.
Yeah and he’s the best player to go to on screen plays. His agility and ability to make guys miss is like a running back.

@I’m Awesome I predicted 6 but when we got to 3-8 I had a top 3 pick in my sights. I’m a firm believer in the idea that there’s no reason to put yourself out of the top 10 by winning meaningless games
@Horcrux187 I personally do not see 8-9 wins next season. So many things would have to go right. Correct draft picks, correct free agent signings, limited injuries, Justin Fields progression to a more balanced passing qb. I think 7 wins will likely be the ceiling.
@I’m Awesome I’m basing it off our 8 single score games this year, plus additions to the team. 5 is my floor, tbh but it’s any given Sunday for a reason. I think 11 is our ceiling, but it’s not too likely. We have a few tough games next year. (At Arrowhead in particular), but Fields is a winner. @Horcrux187 I get the optimism but the bears have to prove to me that they are organizationally capable of consistently putting winning seasons together and making sound draft and free agent signings. Historically speaking the bears have never drafted well and this new GM and management has not had the opportunity yet to prove otherwise. Wasn’t a fan of Roquan trade and felt they could have gotten more for Mack. We shall see I guess but everyone was high on Nagy post year 1 and we saw how that ended lol

No one said that we are good and your right if anyone says that they are delusional… but we have very good pieces starting with our Qb who will be nfl’s most improved player next year with a good draft and a great free agency we will be #1 in our division next year
@King Jay Rico That’s making alot of assumptions. Personally, I think it’s going to take 2-3 minimum to build a winning culture and fundamentally sound team that can compete.

Brisker is foundational piece, Kmet really surprised me, i still think we should draft a TE that stretch the middle but Cole solidified himself as a true weapon.
These guys have no idea wat the NFL is like yet. They say no negativity that’s becuz it’s been no expectations. Another year like this the coach gets fired and major changes will come

I definitely feel better about 2 years from now, but being a playoff team next season is not
unrealistic. Multiple teams recently have made jump from 3 or 4 wins to 9+ wins. Wouldn’t
shock me if the Bears can do it. Hardest will be finding that star WR as really, there is only
about 10 star WR in league anyway, it’ll be really difficult to develop or sign one that good!
Personally, I would much prefer to stay @ #1 & Take Will Anderson. He’s definitely capable
of changing this team. Having Fields Lead the offense & Anderson Lead defense are great
building blocks for this team. I think the 1st Round Draft Pick is very important, we need a
star, so even if we do trade, I’d say go down no lower then 4th pick. Any lower – Anderson
& Carter is both gone. I don’t really value trading down more then ensuring star defender!
Velus is starting to put things together. Receiver might not be as big of a need as we thought. I think the main problem with our offense is the o-line. Receiving core of Mooney, Claypool, Kmet, and Velus if he keeps getting better, could develop into something great, especially if we have a o-line that gives Justin oppertunities.
Add a true No. 1 in that mix and I agree completely

Must not have been here for 2016😂 this teams record is terrible (obviously) but they were in every game besides a few this year, believe 10 or 11 were one score games and 4 of them we scored 30+.

No the bears can’t compete with nobody in this league with a 3-14 record! Getting swepted by the entire divsion is a royal embarrassment and a reflection of a bad ownership hiring wrong people!
