Bill single handedly destroyed this season with his ego. Hiring incompetent people to do jobs they have NO BUSINESS doing. Not stepping in after the first half of the season when things were a disaster and needed changing. But most importantly not being able to adapt on the fly to compensate for his shortcoming’s as a coach. This was a wasted year for MAC who in all reality did the best he could with the $hit coaching Belichick surrounded him with. Hopefully next years playcalling will be without Matt Patricia and Joe Judge as these two are incompetent and insufficient as offense coaches.

    Well said thank you!

Leon D

These press conferences are so uncomfortable. I love it.

    jeff hunter

    Bill loves it too

    Ron Dobson

    Charles Grodin of football.

    Jacob T

    God bless him .

“Yeah we’ll just leave it at that”.. We’re on to Cincinnati… I mean… Nowhere. 😆 Glad they didn’t make it to the playoffs. Maybe they’ll work a little harder in the offseason this year and actually get a team that’s worthy of being watched by a city that counts championship rings and not playoff appearances. 4th year in a row without a playoff win. That means the ownership not playing it on the cheap again as they have been every year with the third deepest pockets in the league and many ways around salary cap to retain players. You’d figure the “best coach in history and best football mind” would be able to do that. Yet another bridge year in store? At that point you’d figure Bill is only playing for one thing and that’s to pass Shula, not to actually win another ring and field the best team possible. Gave up the best player in history (that you luckily got in the 6th round and underpaid for close to two decades) over a battle of egos with this guy and he’s got one more ring after leaving. Oh and he’s still playing this year. Just sayin.

    Jesus Barraza

    hahahahaha, ok.

Chadwick Barry

It is tough when you held your playoff destiny in your own hands, sure Bill can find the light in next seasons training camp. ⛑️

Todd Porter

Im really curious what Mr. Kraft is going to do about this situation here.
This season was embarrassing at times
On the national stage. Team was even flexed out of games …..
Bill is now 1-9 against Miami and Buffalo last 10 games I believe. Maybe worse.
Last 2 wins against backup QBs ..

    stéphane A

    He won’t do anything

Brian Toler

Still my team…try again next season

Antonio Romulo Del Carmen

Not our year. On to the next season. GoPats!#LFG

    Ed Boy

    Hopefully by firing Belichick!

    Jesus Barraza

Antonio, you really are a true Patriot Fan! I salute you

Stand Alone

Way to go bill ! Guy brings in trash and wonders why we losers now! Just coach old man! No more player development!

Belichick is a genius. He knows reporters try to make it uncomcortable with the questions, so he makes them feel uncomfortable asking. Legend.

    WettButt

not genius enough to provide a competent coaching staff and effective gameplan’s not genius enough to even acknowledge the shortcomings and losing record.

    Jesus Barraza

@WettButt haqhahahaha, but you don’t have to cry about it, there is always next year. In Bill I trust.

    Trev Mac

Bill is a genius? (in 131 career coaching games when Tom Brady isn’t his starting QB) he now has a horrific .473 Win% ..
You figure out who the real genius was and the statistical forensics don’t lie *PERIOD*

Chris

Bills level of non-answers is next level. On to the off-season, and hopefully some major changes.

Kevin C

Why are all the reporters terrified of this dude? It’s hilarious 😂😂

    RST28

Because he is stuff of legend. The best to ever do it.
He’s a walking encyclopedia of football knowledge.
Ask him an intelligent question, you will receive a solid , lengthy history lesson type o’ response.
Ask him a dumb question, you will get the “what a dumb question chuckle” and look like an idiot in front of your peers..
Plus he’s a no bullshit kinda guy..

    Kevin C

@RST28 no one is suggesting he isn’t knowledgeable. But he also can come across like an ignorant a$$. I’m not suggesting reporters should be rude or ask dumb questions, but when a legit question is asked and he utters 2 almost incoherent words he should be challenged. Is he great? Look at his numbers and record without Brady. His greatness definitely could and should be questioned.

    Trev Mac

@RST28 I got a question for him > Hey Mr Belichick why do you have such a horrible coaching record when Tom Brady Brady isn’t your starting QB? By my calculation in 131 career coaching games without Brady you have a beyond horrific > .473 Win% without Brady.

I would love to see him answer that question

Ed Boy

Fire Belichick already!!! It’s time for him
To go. He had a good career but I thinkit’s over for him

Alan Stevens

Need alot of changes for next Season. We need a new Offensive Coordinator for a start, and new WR’s.If changes are not made, then it will be worse in 23/24.

Peter Camenzind

For all of you who bought into the great myth surrounding Belichick, we are now seeing what I’ve always known: without a great quarterback, a great coach—even Belichick— can only impact the game so much. Brady was the indispensable element of that dynasty.

    Jesus Barraza

If you can’t recognize what Bill and Mr. Kraft brought to this two-decade Dynasty, man, you don’t know football.

    Peter Camenzind

@Jesus Barraza as evidenced by their record without Brady.

The media created a myth and many bought right into it.

Having a great quarterback doesn’t guarantee sustainable success. NOT having one guarantees you won’t. No matter who the coach is.

    Jesus Barraza

@Peter Camenzind myth? Right. Just leave to the fans of the team, ok?

ScottyCeeJr

These reporters still don’t realize to just not ask bill STUPID QUESTIONS LOL 😂

dragon burn11

It’s amazing how quickly people will turn on you. This team had no business being in a position to even make the playoffs. This team gave it their all all season. Bill is a great coach. All the teams/coaches that are having success, all have legit quarterbacks. Mac has two years under his belt now
I think he makes a huge leap year 3. I thought he looked good yesterday. I hope the Pats Draft OT,sign OT in free agency and hopefully nab Nuk if he is released by Cardinals.

    vipahman

Mac is done. He has never won against a good defense either in 2021 or in 2022. If he comes back in year 3, we will continue to suck.

RST28

The team no business in the playoffs is correct.
A sub par team they are plain and simple.
To address anything one must first identify the problems.
He wants to win like everyone else.
In his crosshairs Shula is.
He’ll get it squared away, I’m not worried.

Trev Mac

Either Bill has gone completely senile or he now knows you will never win with a QB that doesn’t have the accuracy or arm strength to throw down field.. Hell at age 45 Brady was throwing *3* 40,50 and 60 *AIR YARDS TD’s* strikes to Evans 2 weeks ago at age 45.

Mac Jones has trouble with velocity and accuracy with anything past 15 yards.. Pats can’t compete in the AFC with Mahomes,Allen,Burrows,Herbert,Watson,Jackson..

If you can’t throw you better sure as be able to run and Jones runs like a 3 legged elephant . This team is going nowhere with Mac Jones in the future

mickser101

Greatest Coach of all time. 8 Rings from 12 SB Appearances. However without the GOAT he’s average.

Not Bob

Need to hire a new GM, and let Bill focus solely on coaching.
