One hundred percent class organization.

As a retired nurse, I would not feel like a hero, just doing my job. God bless you Damar!! Such great news! 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

    Kat M

True, but to the families you are. Not everyone can do what your do.

The word “hero” is really tossed around loosely these days. I too am a retired RN, and never in my life did I ever think of myself as a “hero.” I did a job I really loved. This young man was really lucky he had the immediate care he received because he would not be with us today. I hope this is a wake call for schools to keep up with their emergency care since young athlets are volunerable to cardiac arrest. Thank you for your service to your community.

You sound like my ex-wife she was a nurse to and worked in intensive care never once felt that she was better than any other nurse. ❤

    Marquita Davis

Amen!! They love making hero’s out of people who are doing their jobs and helping people. That’s what we sign up for.

    Thomas Blersch

“Did my job, and did it well” is not the worst definition of “hero” I can think of.

Awesome on Brandon to mention all the med staff from Docs down to Paramedics. Medics dont get enough credit as the first hands on people when it comes to medical emergencies

Don’t know much about football, but I am so happy this young man – who seems to be a total class act – is hopefully getting a second chance at a full, normal life. I really didn’t expect to hear he had any brain function at all, never mind being able to get on facetime and pump his team up. Thank you medical staff for saving this young man!

Danalee Stephens

Both teams showed incredible strength and class! God bless you all!

This entire Bills organization is such a family unit. I am so impressed with how these men have made showing and talking about feelings and being vulnerable and “loving up” on each other so important and normal. Class acts…all of them. Hats off to the Bengels organization and team too.

This is incredible news. Glory be to god is an applicable statement. All involved – kudos. So happy for Damar’s progress and prayers for full recovery. Tina #billsmafia #bengals

Got choked up where he responded “it’s what would you want someone to do for your son?” So awful that this had to happen, but pressure reveals leadership, and this team has it at every level

God is good 👍 Prayers do work! Thank you, God🙏🙏❤️

I’m at an awe with the Bills Organization and all the people in that stadium. I was very touched with the teams covering, protecting their team player while in distress. I can’t imagine going through this and being there in support of this young man. Brandon thanking and recognizing all involved was a really heartfelt breath of fresh air and human touch. These people are the true heroes, life savers in such difficult and traumatic situations. What a blessing, this gives me hope for our life, generation and humanity. God Bless all of the players in the different sports. Thank you for all that you do.

I’ve been a Packers fan for almost 30 years. Still am. That said… Bills for the Superbowl.

A lot of those same doctors saved my grandfather’s life! Thank you to all of you who do this everyday!!!!!!!!! You are the real heros God is Good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristina

The 12’s prayed hard for our NFL brother! We are so thankful to all on the field that helped save this young man’s life. The top-notch training of the Bill’s staff combined with their exact and clear understanding of chain of command is why we are celebrating today! Thank you also to the medical staff for their tireless efforts. Seattle is celebrating this young man’s life! Thank you, Bill’s!! 💗💗

This incident was really traumatizing as a fan watching the game on TV. This is great for awareness, and has encouraged me to go and get CPR certified. This was a 24 year old young man and this could have ended very different if those that were right there to start what they knew was needed to save his life. We all should know that God put people in you life for a reason!!! I have never seen anything like this, and it was eye opening. To the world sending prayer and love to Damar Hamlin and his family seem to be heard and felt. I only now know Damar due to this tragedy. We also need to remember Mr. TEE HIGGINS need some love. WE LOVE YOU TEE HIGGINS!! The drama around the tackle is not appropriate!!

Yes! And why having an AED nearby (and knowing to ask for one!) is so crucial.

I am so proud of everyone in this situation each person representing unconditional love and grace ! And God showing out too by answering all of our prayers !

Based on what we’ve learned about Damar and his family, it explains why the nation embraced him as their own. I have been as impacted by his injury as if he were family. I am so grateful to all those who made his recovery possible. Lastly Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals have made me rethink my perception of the uncaring, exploitative NFL franchises. Well Done…Very Well Done!

The most incredible NFL play this year was not a 99 TD run. It was saving this young man’s life. !!!!!

You just hit a walkoff grandslam to win the W S
…hit a 3 pointer to win the nba championship, scored the winning goal in overtime to win the Stanley Cup.

    Daniel Katz

    Hugs frr yr statement

Zack Adamec

McDermott is coach of the year 100% man. Dude was absolutely incredible in his handling of this entire thing.

David Hartman

I never miss a Beane presser. He is seriously Legit. The absolute best GM in the game. Thank you for individual love to the hero’s.

Rebecca Lyle

I am so happy that Damar is getting better, we have been praying non-stop for him to get well. God Bless. From a Bengals fan.

Clayton Clifford

Such a class act of an organization and of a human. How he mentioned every single person involved in saving Damar’s life is really touching. It’s so amazing to hear that Damar is progressing in the right direction
