This is getting long sorry but I’ll add the fact Mathews doesn’t miss games and only allowed 4 sacks all season is enough to keep him. Imagine if the entire oline only allowed 4 sacks a piece for just 20 sacks a season. We’d rank fairly high in that category something we haven’t since Vick. Pff of a 97 coming into 2022

Jacksonville has had 6 first round picks over the last 3 seasons. Last two years #1 over all still may not make .500. Building a team with veteran’s that can come in and make a immediate impact is how this team will get better next season and beyond not depending on that one guy selected top 5 over all. I agree we need to draft defense heavy but cant put all your eggs in one basket we’ll be fine wherever we end up come draft day.
