They either need to change their QB evaluation process or hire someone to focus on that. Also a person focused on QB development. Because whatever they’re currently doing is obviously not working at all with QB. The results prove this.
And I’ve been at times, defending Rivera’s decisions- even with this last switch to Wentz. But just his mishandling of the QB position is grounds for being let go mainly because he went out of his way to say he handpicked Wentz. Results are results and they’re no way where they need to be at QB and with situational awareness & adjustments. Especially with the potential elite talent at the other offensive skilled positions. Potential only because of the lack of production (caused by lack of talent and efficiency at QB and offensive line).
Needs to realistically self-evaluate TO MAKE MAJOR CHANGES because of the “definition of insanity.”
I want to see Cole Turner finally do something
Despite the debacle of these past 3 years, River Ron has drafted a group of great young players, no egos, well rounded young men, some of his personal decisions & the personal decisions he haven’t made is what got us in this situation.
He also had a lot of misses. He also brought all his loser coaches n loser players like David Mayo tai Turner n norwell just to name a few
Biggest problem was what RIVERA did at the QB position.

They are like three weeks late on this decision.
That’s what I said ..I would’ve went with Sam weeks and weeks ago he has Carson arm strength and Taylor’s Mobility..why they didn’t give him a shot to add a spark is crazy.
At this point I don’t trust Ron or his coaching staffs judgment when it comes to making any decisions in the National Football League.

He does but at the same time , but if Snyder holds onto this team no quality coach is coming here. I don’t mind keep Rivera but on the conditions that Turner and Del Rio. Maybe you can get Damico Ryan in here if he wants an HC job. Personally with everything Rivera has been through I don’t he mentally has it in him to do it maybe he decides on focusing on DC and relinquishing the HC to someone else and replacing Del Rio. That’s a far stretch but who knows what will happen at this point. But this franchise isn’t a prime spot with the current owner still in place.

@Bradley Campbell I’m sure they will. Personally I don’t mind Rivera taking a lesser role and just focusing on the defense and giving Del Rio le boot. Give Taylor a chance to explore play calling since he wants to coach anyway. But clearly the offensive coordinator and Rivera have been on different wavelengths for two years.
He’s always looked that way he never cared. He’s always been clueless and never wanted to win. I would’ve fired him last year. Idk why people bought into his BS.

Yes I agree, give Payne the money that was gonna go to Wentz. We shouldn’t even think about getting other positions until we get our offensive line buffed up.

Sell the team, fire Jason Wright, fire Hurney and Mayhew, fire Rivera and his coaching staff, get rid of Wentz, keep Howell and Heinicke, and improve the O Line in the offseason. Also re-sign Payne and Sweat.

I have had enough of this regime and I’m 57 a Washington fan for 50 years these old school coaches I respect love there my age but I even realize it’s 2023 the game has changed you have to bring in inavative younger coaches to utilize the talent we have because we do have talent live Ron old time football 🏈 but the game has changed the 85 bears could be beat today the game is more explosive today he is still coaching and making descions like it’s 1986 but it’s 2023 I’m sure Ron’s done a great job changing the culture but it’s about winning getting to the Superbowl and 3 seasons with a subpar below 500 record unacceptable he has to go
