If u said that before the season I’d say OK. But if u told me when we were 7-4 that we’d lose 5 in a row(3 of which we should’ve won) I would’ve said Enough patience!!

Next year he has to make the playoffs.
This organization picked Gase. We knew what we had before we got him. Now we have a good coach that can improve, we don’t know what we have till year 3. The year 1 roster was bottom of the bottom, with many injuries. Year 2 roster was vastly improved, but once again injuries derailed it. Hard to judge what he brings to the table when we don’t have the pieces in place for a run (or had them and lost them due to injuries).
Yep, year three is when it shows the direction of the team, only fair, he’s obviously not a terrible coach.
Gases roster was 10 times worse imo, same results in 2 years. Im not sold on Robert but we will see
Injuries happen every year to every team. When they happen you need to adjust your game plan to compensate.
Our problem is we have the same simple and very predictable game plans on Defense and Offense for every game.
A smart coach makes innovative use of his remaining assets.
O line: 32nd ranked by DVOA, 31 based on individual talent on PFF, before the Seattle game. Can’t do much with what little talent was left after all of those injuries.
No doubt there needs to be massive offensive overhauls
This offseason
Comparing the QB position as if its equal to all other positions is just ridiculous. He needs to be straight with the fans and not sugar coat it. Should be saying we underperformed at the QB position and we will reevaluate where we stand at end of the year. Overall we celebrate progress as a team but are disappointed we haven’t been able to end the season with a string of wins. We have work to do and ask our great fans to come along for the ride as things will get better… you have my word on that. So lets go forward together!
Poor QB play, questionable play calling, and the injuries to the O-line caught up to us! But NO EXCUSES next year! Playoffs or bust!!!
Great guy, but this is all a smoke screen. It is only a process when coupled with progress, this team legitimately won 3 games this year as a team. XERXUS needs to stop being an observer on the sidelines and start being more involved. To watch Lafleur basically win 5 games out of 35 games and keep that clown in booth is NOT A PROCESS! Do I need to quote Eisensteins definition of insanity……
The solution will never be to change course every two years. Eventually you have to build something and improve incrementally

I have no doubts in my mind tjat joe douglas is going to do everything in his power this offseason to get all of the playmakers possible so we can score every possession on offense next season.
