I’ll say this, whoever Wilks picks to stick around or replace with, either way I’m interested. As for draft, I’m in on best available. Don’t overreach.

Agreed, we need some in a few places, but I think they are close. We have 1 first and 2 second. Could easily be 3 starters, for next year. Plus a few free agents, and this could be on it’s way.
The Bucs haven’t scored 3 TDs in a game yet the season. That was a record for them against the Panthers in such an important game. Seems like every team we play break records on us! I think the OC called some bad games. If running the ball got you here you got to keep running the ball which opens up the passing. The OC abandoned that even knowing the Bucs was going to stack the box. Our secondary seems to get burnt Alot, especially Taylor! Not having Jackson or Horn can’t be an excuse for sloppy play. These are professionals that get paid and suppose to be the best at what they do so they don’t get to use excuses to why a receiver catches two 55 plus yards TDs in the same game that was so important! As for the HC, he did his job and some. You can only coach these guys up and then let them go play. The players got to want it as bad as the next players and coaches. Honestly, this team has been a disappointment because HC Wilkes did alot to help but the players didn’t execute. Tom Brady don’t play Defense nor do he run passing routes. Also winning the Saints game this week means NOTHING…. Beating the Bucs meant EVERYTHING. We need an OC that can adjust, a QB that can be a Dog when it matters the most and not turn over the ball and we need a DB that can stay healthy and be consistent. Unexceptionable, PERIOD!
I hope they bring back Steve Wilks as the Head Coach, but I would be shocked if Ken Dorsey gets a serious look. He was here as QB Coach under Ron.

Horrible defense Evans with three tds is uncalled for
I know alot of people are blaming Henderson for the loss, but you also have to address the D line in the second half. Tom Brady should not be able to have that much time to throw the ball. Henderson actually had Mike evans in check at first because the D Line was getting some decent to good pressure. Brian Burns is great and all but other than that no one was getting enough pressure.

Wilk’s leadership shows even more in the aftermath of the tough loss. Doesn’t take the bait to throw CJ under the bus and clearly articulates the breakdown from the big plays. Ignore the foolish comments shouting nonsense. Yes, we’re all disappointed, but the only reason we had even the slightest chance to go to the playoffs is due to this man. The man knows how to coach and teach players how to play better. This is why he should be our next head coach.
I love Steve Wilks as a character and his mindset is one we want in Carolina. The players love him and the fans do too. Is he the guy to turn around this team into one of the most dominant teams in the league, no he’s not. I’m sure a team will be blessed to have him, but if he stays here as a HC we’ll be decent at best. Bring in someone like Ben Johnson who is an offense guru. We watch a league where innovative offenses dominate and go 12+ wins in a season. I’d like to see Wilks as a DC for the team which is an upgrade from Assistant Head Coach. Love Wilks but he unfortunately isn’t the guy. 5-6 as Panthers IHC. And 9-18 as a HC in his career in the NFL, that’s just one factor but there’s many more that goes into it. Hope Tepper takes his time and hires a good offensive guru at the HC position or even look out towards Michigan at Jim Harbaugh
